Use only as a spot treatment. For red, itchy, and hard blemishes that can't be popped, gently prick the pore with a sterile needle and apply this on top - it's amazingly effective at calming the area. It feels stronger than Keracnyl, so I use very small amounts only for severe cases. It softens excess oil and dead skin cells, and after washing, the skin becomes smoother. I don't apply it all over the face as it's clearly too intense for that. However, I do regularly apply it more broadly on my back and chest. After showering the next day, the skin feels silky smooth and clean, with oil production controlled enough to prevent blemishes for a while.
ConsIt stings intensely and is quite irritating. Overuse can cause skin reactions. The smell is unpleasant. Unfortunately, it's been discontinued. If it comes back on the market, I'd switch from Keracnyl to this in a heartbeat. However, the volume is too large - I wish they'd reduce both the size and price to ensure it's used up before expiring, encouraging repurchases.

I used this product after my toner, and I was pleased to see it visibly calming my angry blemishes.
ConsHaving dry, super sensitive skin, it stung quite a bit. It was too intense to use all over my face, so I just spot-treated the larger inflamed areas.
TipThose with oily skin might be able to use this all over their face. If you have dry skin like me and suddenly developed small bumps or inflamed acne due to a compromised skin barrier, I'd recommend using it sparingly on affected areas only.

I applied only this product before bed, without using anything else.
ConsIt feels a bit heavy for everyday use, and it can sting when applied to areas with blemishes! Also, the scent isn't particularly pleasant. Even though my face was dry in winter, I had never experienced widespread skin irritation before. However, after using this, my skin became rough and bumpy, with severe dead skin cells buildup, so I immediately stopped using it. It really seems like this product works differently for everyone.

The next morning after cleansing, there's this sense that your skin texture has been refined. That's definitely a plus! Oh, and when you're almost out of product, you don't even need to squeeze the tube - the remaining contents just come out easily. How convenient!
ConsTo begin with, it's far too rich, which is uncomfortable. If you apply it after popping a blemish... it's absolutely dreadful. It causes a tingling sensation that's quite intense. Sometimes it even stings when applied to untouched skin. Moreover, I'm not really sure if it's actually beneficial for my skin.

At first it feels a bit oily, but then it absorbs to a powdery finish.
ConsIt stung too much on my blemishes... and I didn't see any skin improvement effects.

My milia easily turn into inflamed blemishes. I never thought the milia on my chin and forehead would go away, but after using this product, over 80% of them have disappeared! My blemishes have significantly improved and continue to get better. This product alone is worth buying - it's the real deal. I've tried countless products, but I've never seen one work this quickly. It's a bit heavy for daytime use, so I apply it at night. After cleansing with toner, I squeeze out a small pea-sized amount and spread it over my face. Then I dab a bit extra on any problem areas. If you do this consistently, your skin will gradually become soft and smooth. You might think you're getting more blemishes at first, but it's actually just speeding up the progression of existing ones. They go through this process and then disappear, revealing fresh new skin underneath.
ConsIt stings and tingles quite a bit, especially on blemished areas. Although it calms down after a few hours, it still stings every time I apply it. The interesting thing is, it only tingles on areas with milia or inflamed blemishes. I just leave it be, assuming it's part of the healing process. The stinging sensation actually makes me feel like it's working to sanitize my skin, so I don't mind it too much. Fortunately, while it stings, it doesn't cause redness. If anything, it makes my skin look clearer.

It might suit some people...
ConsEvery time I apply this, my face stings and itches, causing irritation. It's sticky, greasy, and leaves a residue on the skin. When I wake up, I find small bumps on my face. The description claims it has a mattifying effect, but that's hard to believe.
TipTry a sample before purchasing.

I discovered this gem! It seems to be calming my milia (small bumps). While I'll need to use it consistently to see long-term results, it's already more effective than other products I've tried.
ConsIt stung a bit when I first applied it, which made me wonder if it was too harsh. However, as I continued using it, my skin adjusted. Be careful not to apply too much, as it can cause pilling.
TipTip: Pat it on gently before bed! Say goodbye to those pesky bumps! Just be cautious not to use it too frequently, as it might make your skin super sensitive.

I've tried dermatologists and every blemish product out there, but nothing seemed to work long-term. Then I stumbled upon the Uriage Hyséac line on a blog. I was skeptical but decided to try the AI serum first. To my surprise, over time I noticed my small blemishes actually diminishing! Convinced it was effective, I bought the K18 as well. For cystic acne, I'd apply a thick layer before bed. Within about 3 days, it would calm down. For stubborn spots, it would bring them to a head so they could be extracted easily. Then I'd apply more overnight to that area. Now these two products are my absolute holy grails - I can't be without them. Whenever there are coupons or points at the shop, these are my top priority to stock up on!
ConsIt stings a bit when you apply it, which can be alarming, but the sensation passes quickly if you wait it out. In the morning before makeup, apply a very thin layer and give it plenty of time to absorb fully. Otherwise, you may experience some pilling with your makeup.
TipAfter cleansing, I apply toner, and on days when my skin isn't at its best, I'll layer this right on top before my essence and moisturizer. I make sure to pat extra product onto any blemishes before bed. I use it daily, and when my skin starts feeling tight, I'll cleanse, apply essence, layer this on, and spot treat any blemishes. I only use the AI emulsion in the morning as part of my skincare routine.

While I haven't seen dramatic changes, it seems gentle on the skin and not bad for acne-prone areas. I'll need to use it more consistently to see better results.
ConsIt's a bit drying if used alone in winter, and there's a slight tingling sensation at first. However, it's not significantly uncomfortable.
