It's a bit brighter than the gold color, less moisturizing, and I mainly use it in the summer because of the higher SPF.

The gold-colored Descartes has an overwhelming advantage of being very moisturizing and applying naturally, but this one has a somewhat ambiguous positioning. When the base is not well-prepared, it applies dryly, and on days when I put in the effort to do my makeup, it doesn't express itself as prettily. But I still end up buying it every year, haha.

I really love the original gold-colored BB cream from Descartes, so I naturally came across this one as well. The gold has good spreadability and a natural finish, so I use it a lot on a daily basis, but since the shade 17 is a bit toned down for me, I bought it to express a brighter look, and I'm using it well for that purpose.

I used it for almost 2 years.
But the store closed, so
I'm currently using Mac products now.
People have told me that my skin looks more supple and healthy than when I was using the expensive Mac products!

I find that applying this with a sponge or puff gives an even thinner and more seamless application, and it really helps the product adhere to the skin nicely.

Since I've only used it for a few days, I haven't really found any downsides yet. If I had to nitpick, the coverage isn't extremely heavy-duty - it just covers minor blemishes, freckles, and small pimples. Luckily, I don't have any major breakouts or acne scars, so it works fine for me. But for those who need more coverage, you might want to use a concealer along with this BB cream.

I just started using this gift and it's amazing! I didn't have high expectations, but when I applied it, it turned out to be fantastic! My skin tone is a bit on the darker side, and I usually have to use 23 shades of cushion foundation to make it look lighter, but this BB cream in shade 21 is a perfect match for me. It's been a while since I've used a BB cream, and this one is just so beautiful. It makes my skin look naturally a little brighter, without being too much. When I apply it, the formula starts out matte, but as I spread it out, it blends in smoothly and applies thinly. There's minimal caking, and I really like it! It lasts for half a day before gradually fading, but it fades nicely. I think I can easily touch up with additional product on top. As a combination skin type, I don't get any breakouts, and it doesn't emphasize any dry patches, which is great!

Consider this as a base and layer a cushion or foundation on top for better coverage and tone correction.^^

I don't recommend this for people with a yellowish skin tone. Even a slight yellow undertone can give a slightly uneven look.
