I fell in love with the Deescarego Original Gold BB cream, so I naturally gravitated towards this one too. The gold version has great absorption and looks natural, making it my go-to for daily use. As someone with shade 17, this one gives me a slightly toned-down effect, which is perfect for when I want a brighter complexion. It's serving its purpose beautifully. While the gold Deescarego has the undeniable advantage of being incredibly moisturizing and blending naturally, this one's positioning is a bit ambiguous. It's too dry to apply smoothly when your skincare isn't on point, yet it doesn't give that flawless finish for those special, full-glam days. Still, I find myself repurchasing it year after year! Compared to the gold version, this one gives a brighter look and is less hydrating. Thanks to its higher SPF, I mainly use it during summer. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedNov 10, 2020
I really liked this BB cream. I used it for almost two years. Unfortunately, the store closed down. Currently, I'm using MAC products, but this one was even more nourishing than the expensive MAC, and people even told me my skin looked better! As for downsides... there weren't really any! I'm thinking I might go back to this once I finish my MAC product. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedDec 19, 2019
I received this as a gift and tried it without any expectations, but wow, it's absolutely amazing! My skin tone is slightly dark, and I usually use cushion foundation in shade 23, which makes me look even darker. I've been using shade 21, but this BB cream is the perfect color for me. It's been a while since I've used a BB cream, and the color is truly beautiful. It brightens my skin ever so slightly in a natural, not overdone way. When applying, it initially feels matte, but as you blend it out, it spreads easily and thinly. There's minimal pilling, which is great! It lasts well for about half a day, and even as it fades, it does so gracefully. Touch-ups should be easy without any issues. No blemishes appeared, and as someone with combination skin, I love that it doesn't emphasize dead skin cells and feels hydrating! Since I've only used it for a few days, I haven't found any downsides yet. If I had to pick something, I'd say the coverage isn't extremely high - it only covers small dark spots, freckles, and tiny pimples. Fortunately, I don't have any large pimples or acne scars, so it works fine for me. But if you need more coverage, you might want to use it along with a concealer. Applying it with a sponge or puff rather than your fingers results in a thinner, more even application that adheres better to the skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRednessRecommendedNov 20, 2019
When applied, it gives a brightening effect. It's a BB cream that's moisturizing with a natural color payoff. It feels like the BB cream they apply at dermatology clinics after a treatment. Not recommended for those with yellowish undertones. If you have even a slight yellow tinge, it might look a bit off. The coverage is on the lower side, and it's not suitable for those with oily skin. Think of it as a base product. If you layer a cushion or foundation compact on top, it seems to improve both coverage and complexion evening. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 17, 2019
It's wonderfully moisturizing with a natural coverage that's perfect for concealing blemishes. There's a scent to it, but it's not particularly satisfying. - 73*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 22, 2019
It doesn't float on the skin, which is great! I have dry skin, but surprisingly, it didn't cause any blemishes. With a solid skincare routine underneath, it didn't feel drying at all. It covers redness well too. Overall, it's a decent everyday BB cream...? The ingredients list is concerning... It's from the same brand, but this one has 6 potentially problematic ingredients, which is really worrying. While I didn't experience any blemishes, it might cause issues for others, so please check the ingredients carefully before purchasing. Also, it didn't seem to work well with a cushion puff. I only have a puff to apply it with, no brush, and well... it was a bit challenging. It might work better with other application tools, though. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 8, 2019
It absorbs beautifully, with a subtle fragrance. When applied, it gives a luminous finish that makes you look more radiant. It's a bit disappointing that it doesn't seem to adhere well when applied with a puff. Other than that, I can't think of any drawbacks. I recommend using it in this order: toner > emulsion (generously) > moisturizer > sunscreen > BB cream. - dw*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 7, 2018
It was moisturizing and quite useful. The ingredients are gentle, and it's lightweight, so it applies smoothly. It didn't seem to suit my skin as I developed a few blemishes. I wouldn't recommend it for those with a lot of dead skin cells, as it makes them very noticeable. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedSep 12, 2018
This product is truly fantastic! It applies smoothly and keeps my skin hydrated even though I have dry skin. I usually don't like products that make my already fair skin look excessively pale, but this one gives such a natural color. Maybe it's because there's only one shade available. There's no darkening or grayish tint - it's just great! The downside is that while it's perfect for me, it might be a bit dark for those who prefer a lighter look than their natural skin tone. It seems to be slightly darker or similar to the typical #21 shade available in the market. I found it works best when applied thinly twice using a damp beauty sponge! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 19, 2018
Coverage - It's great for light coverage when you don't have many skin issues. It works well when used in combination with concealer for areas you want to hide. Application - This BB cream is quite moisturizing, giving your skin a subtle glow that makes it look healthy after application. It's also reasonably priced and adapts to your natural skin tone for a seamless look. The downside is that the coverage is quite sheer, so it's not very effective at hiding blemishes, dark spots, or other areas you might want to conceal.
