The lotion formula makes it easy to control the amount. It lasts a long time compared to the amount used. I usually use a lot of Kiehl's, but the remover is not great.. It doesn't come off easily and it stings when it gets in the eyes. The eyeliner and brow products come off, but the mascara feels like I'm just rubbing skin to remove it.. I'm worried it's going to hurt my eyes, so lately I've been using just a small amount and applying it to my face. In the lotion form, just a small amount on a cotton pad can be spread out widely, allowing it to last a long time. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 10, 2017
The word 'gentle' implies that there is little to no irritation...... Hmm... When I got married, I had a lot of makeup, so I just bought a basic set and sunscreen from Kiehl's for the wedding set... Not testing it was my mistake... I thought the eye makeup remover was liquid, but it's lotion... But I can't use the eye makeup remover as a cleansing milk either.. If I use it that way, the price will be ridiculous...it's really frustrating True to its name, it's gentle and non-irritating, but also ineffective. First of all, it doesn't remove eyeliner well. It doesn't remove mascara. Even after holding it on for a long time, the mascara remains. It fails to function as an eye makeup remover. There's no chemical fragrance, but the fragrance isn't great either. Conclusion: Not recommended!! I can't throw it away, so I use it occasionally on days when I don't wear eyeliner or mascara. Don't buy it for this price. But if you're really curious and want to try it, you can buy it cheaply at the duty-free shop.
