When I'm out and about a lot in summer, my skin often gets red and heated. Applying this product then is amazing! It has a cooling effect that calms and refreshes the skin. While it does feel a bit sticky, it's not an unpleasant stickiness - I actually liked it! Plus, you get a generous amount, which makes it a product I really love! It's a shame this product is on the pricey side. Also, if you're not a fan of products with a sticky feel, this might not be for you! - pn******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 5, 2020
I applied this to areas where my baby had a bump from hitting their head, and to red, swollen spots. As someone with contact allergies, I found it soothing when applied to reddened areas. It absorbs well and quickly calmed the inflammation. The only downside is that the tube is opaque, making it difficult to check how much product is left. I keep it stored in the refrigerator. It's definitely more cooling this way, which helps reduce heat and inflammation faster. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 20, 2019
Hmm, it's quite moisturizing. I use it because it absorbs well into my skin. I'm breaking out with a lot of blemishes. It doesn't seem to agree with my skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 31, 2019
I have a peach fuzz allergy, and after touching it while washing, my arms and face got itchy. But when I applied the After Sun Replenishing Gel, the areas where I had scratched and developed a rash quickly calmed down! I loved how it absorbed immediately without any sticky feeling. Although it's a cosmetic product, it seems to have a soothing effect on blemishes. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 19, 2019
It has a cooling effect. I apply it before bed to reduce redness and tighten pores. As expected, the ingredients aren't particularly gentle. I accidentally applied it near my eyes once and felt a strong tingling sensation. An aloe soothing gel might be a better option. Besides this, various soothing gels work well too. For skin calming, I apply it on my cheeks, around the nose, chin, and the back of my neck (connected to the face, which enhances the cooling effect). It feels refreshing and helps soothe the skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinApr 16, 2018
Great for calming that burning redness in summer! Love how cool and refreshing it feels. Must be refrigerated, unfortunately. It's a bit sticky, so better for home use only. Wouldn't recommend for going out. Make sure to keep it in the fridge! Versatile uses - good for insect bites, sunburns, and more. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 30, 2017
I tend to get overheated in my upper body, so I used this every night to combat chest and back blemishes. It actually helped reduce my chest acne. When I applied it to my face, it stung my eyes terribly. After that, I strictly used it on my body only. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 6, 2017
This is a product I always use and would highly recommend if you can get it at a good price While there's nothing specifically bad, I checked the Hwahae app and noticed it contains some less-than-ideal ingredients, which is a bit disappointing - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 3, 2017
I'm using this on my kids too. It's quite effective for soothing the skin, so I've been using it well. To be honest, I was surprised when I saw the app reviews - it's better than I expected! I can't think of any downsides. I apply it when my skin feels hot and burning, or when the kids get heat rash. I really like it for these purposes. I keep it in the refrigerator and apply it cool. It feels great! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinFeb 11, 2017
I appreciate that the fragrance isn't overpowering. It's extremely irritating and itchy. I have mild atopic dermatitis, which might be why I've only used it a few times and then stopped.
