I've been struggling with milia and blemishes since middle school, but after using this product into my twenties, my skin has improved remarkably. The downside is that it's been discontinued. I want to buy it, but now I can't. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 24, 2019
I tend to wear heavier makeup. I have combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive and prone to blemishes. I once tried a tester at a Mary Kay store near my home and was shocked to see residue on the cotton pad after using a foam cleanser. However, Mary Kay's cleanser, despite being an emulsion that doesn't foam, left my skin feeling clean and hydrated. Of course, I've never had any irritation from it. Since using this, my small pimples have noticeably decreased. I started using it in my mid-20s, and now at 33, while I've changed other products, this one is truly irreplaceable. I always keep a stock of it and reorder when I'm down to 2-3 bottles. I think I might need to register as a Mary Kay product enthusiast! It runs out so quickly even when I'm the only one using it. Buying online is somewhat cheaper, but it's still in the $20 range... Please reconsider the price... I had to deduct one star because of the cost. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 4, 2018
This has been my holy grail product for 3 years now. I feel so uncomfortable without it that washing my face with anything else just irritates me. I love how it doesn't cause any blemishes! I wish I could keep this a secret... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedSep 22, 2018
My skin feels so hydrated even after cleansing. Since it's mildly acidic, I'm planning to keep using it consistently. It's quite pricey... and I go through it really quickly. But aside from that, it seems pretty good. - dm********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRednessMar 16, 2018
As someone with combination to dry skin, I loved how my skin felt moisturized after using it. The next day, my skin also seemed calmer and more soothed. While it suits my skin and I've been using it for years, I've just realized it contains many harmful ingredients... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 19, 2017
It's really not good. I have oily skin, and after using this, my blemishes got even worse. There's not a single positive thing to say. It's annoying to even write this review. I'm not sure how it would work for those with dry skin. There are no pros to mention. - al*******Oily SkinJul 4, 2017
I had acne-prone, oily skin with severe deep dryness and redness. Someone I met by chance recommended this, and it's truly become my holy grail! My deep dryness has almost disappeared, and I only get occasional blemishes now. I've been using this for over two years and still am! After switching to this cleanser, I changed all my skincare to this brand. Compared to before, the difference in my skin is unbelievable! The volume is small, the price is high, and it runs out quickly. When I started using this, I didn't know about Hwahae, so I was unaware of the ingredients. Now I see the ingredients aren't great... (That's why I'm wavering back and forth about it). Apart from that, it's okay. - ri*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinJun 4, 2017
I have a very challenging skin type - combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive. Before discovering this product, I struggled with blemishes for a while, causing me a lot of stress! Of course, I visited dermatologists, but it wasn't until I found this cleanser that I realized how crucial proper cleansing is. When I briefly switched to a Phy*so* cleanser, those pesky blemishes started creeping back. Lack of hydration always triggers blemishes for me... This cleanser is incredibly gentle. Being an emulsion type, it doesn't irritate my skin at all. I can't imagine living without this cleanser now! It's the grateful product that banished my blemishes. The price is quite high for the amount you get... It feels like I've barely used it, but this sneaky cleanser runs out so quickly! To use this cleanser, start with clean, dry hands and a dry face. For the first cleanse, apply generously and gently massage with two fingers. For the second cleanse, use just a small amount for a light massage, then rinse thoroughly with water. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 20, 2017
At first, it made my skin feel dry and tingly, but it gradually got better! There are scrub-like particles, so you need to be careful when rinsing it off. I had to go to the eye doctor to remove a particle that got into my eye. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinFeb 16, 2017
I've been using this product for over 3 years now because it's helped clear up my milia and dryness. Some say the cleansing effectiveness is low, but I find it removes makeup thoroughly when used with the dedicated facial cloth. I even use this alone on days I wear makeup, without double cleansing with oil. It feels a bit rich, so even with my dry skin, I use it as a second cleanser in summer. It's also pricier compared to other cleansers. The Mary Kay system of buying through beauty consultants can be inconvenient, but you do get plenty of samples and facial cloths. For a thorough cleanse, apply the product, wipe with the facial cloth, then rinse with water. I always follow up with toner on a cotton pad, and there's never any foundation residue left behind.
