The main drawback with Guerlain is always the high price point. Also, it's a bit disappointing that the effect is so subtle it's barely noticeable indoors unless you're in direct light.

I purchased the medium color, and it applies with a subtle, elegant tint. The shimmer looks natural on the face without appearing gaudy. Being a pressed powder, it's also convenient to carry around.

It's quite pricey, and to be honest, I didn't feel like it made my skin any more radiant when I applied it. I've tried both the pearl and pressed versions, but it seems like it's more about self-satisfaction than actual results. Still, I wonder why I bought three of these at duty-free...

I also got a brush from Guerlain, but I'm not sure if it's really that great either.

Anyway, I use it daily as the final step in my makeup routine, but I'm not seeing any brightening effect. My skin isn't particularly oily, so I can't tell if it's even controlling excess oil well.

Additionally, I once carried it around with me and it completely shattered, so now I only use it at home. (Seems like the portability isn't great.)

If I had to point out a downside, it would be that it breaks easily. It's also a bit heavier than other products, which is somewhat disappointing.

After about a month of use, it starts to crumble. Once it breaks, it shatters into tiny pieces that scatter everywhere, which is inconvenient. The staying power isn't great, so you need to carry it with you, but as you carry it around, the powder starts to break apart.

The pearlescent effect brightens up my face. As someone with dark, sensitive skin who only uses BB cream, rolling this on my T-zone lightens my complexion and controls oil. No allergic reaction occurred.

Use it for touch-ups. Apply it twice. It's best for achieving a sheer look in summer. For a flawless, translucent complexion, apply a thin layer of double-wear foundation and lightly dust this on top!

I use the one with pearls, but when I carry it around, all the pearls break and just turn into powder... LOL

After applying this, my makeup lasts four times longer. I have combination dehydrated skin leaning towards dry, but even when I layer this over foundation, it doesn't feel heavy or thick at all. I love how it brightens my complexion, and when I need to touch up, I only need this powder to make my makeup look freshly applied.
