My complexion tends to be on the darker and dull side, but after applying foundation and using this product, I definitely notice my skin looking brighter. It adds a nice glow without being overwhelming. I always make sure to use it as the final step in my makeup routine. The downside is the excess powder that can fly around, and you absolutely need to remember to bring a separate brush. Using the Guerlain-specific brush seems to help reduce the amount of excess powder flying around. - ja******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 13, 2019
I purchased the medium color, and it applies with a subtle, elegant tint. The shimmer looks natural on the face without appearing gaudy. Being a pressed powder, it's also convenient to carry around. The main drawback with Guerlain is always the high price point. Also, it's a bit disappointing that the effect is so subtle it's barely noticeable indoors unless you're in direct light. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJan 19, 2019
It's so pretty... The product is beautiful, isn't it? The case is lovely and the colors are gorgeous! It's quite pricey, and to be honest, I didn't feel like it made my skin any more radiant when I applied it. I've tried both the pearl and pressed versions, but it seems like it's more about self-satisfaction than actual results. Still, I wonder why I bought three of these at duty-free... I also got a brush from Guerlain, but I'm not sure if it's really that great either. Anyway, I use it daily as the final step in my makeup routine, but I'm not seeing any brightening effect. My skin isn't particularly oily, so I can't tell if it's even controlling excess oil well. Additionally, I once carried it around with me and it completely shattered, so now I only use it at home. (Seems like the portability isn't great.) - dh*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 16, 2019
For those with a medium skin tone who don't aim for a pale look, this product is absolutely essential if you have a dull complexion. After applying foundation or cushion, a light touch of this as a finishing step eliminates the need for highlighter. It has multiple benefits, including minimizing the appearance of uneven texture and pores. While there are similar products out there, the original just has that special something. If you don't maintain it properly or use it so much that you can see the pan, from that point on, you'll have to leave it at home. It keeps breaking into small pieces... You need to sweep it with a slightly firmer brush to get the product to adhere. Be careful not to apply too many layers, or you might experience a chalky, powdery finish. Use sparingly for best results. - ry******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRednessNov 10, 2018
I bought this because the case looks luxurious and beautiful. The fragrance is lovely, and I really like the subtle color payoff. If I had to point out a downside, it would be that it breaks easily. It's also a bit heavier than other products, which is somewhat disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJul 31, 2018
I'm on my second one now. I've always been concerned about my combination skin and large pores, but this powder is fantastic. It gives a radiant finish with fine particles and just the right amount of pearl, leaving my skin looking fresh and matte without emphasizing pores. That's why I keep using it. There's a bit of excess powder when applying, and it's a bit inconvenient to carry a separate brush. However, now that they've released an all-in-one version, that's not really an issue anymore. - in*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 25, 2018
It gives the effect of combining powder highlighter and blush, making your complexion look healthy and radiant In winter, it feels a bit matte, and in summer, it seems to pill unfortunately - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 11, 2018
The case is beautiful, the color payoff is luxurious, and it feels smooth and lovely on the skin. It's fragile - even a slight drop can cause the particles to break, making it difficult to carry around. I intended to use the pearl version at home and take this one with me, but I couldn't even carry it for a month before relegating it to home use only. Handle it with care when you're on the go! - ku*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinMar 31, 2018
It's radiant... Is there any product that can match it? I've been using Guerlain since college, so for over 20 years now. In my opinion, there's no other product that can achieve such a subtle radiance without becoming cakey. Oh my... The ingredients... But if you look closely, it's not about genetic modification, but rather potential allergens. So if you don't have an allergic reaction to this product, wouldn't it be fine? I don't use it for everyday makeup. Not because it's expensive, but I save it for special occasions. As for the brush, it's really like dog hair, so I use Shu Uemura's natural brush (pictured) instead. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 24, 2018
When applied as the final step of your makeup routine, it noticeably brightens and enhances your complexion. For oily skin types, it looks fine initially, but later on it can make your face appear excessively shiny.
