Isn't the price incredibly reasonable? The texture is so hydrating, and it absorbs beautifully. Even the packaging feels luxurious! I mix it with my BB cream for application. My friends have been raving about how much my skin texture has improved - they're seriously impressed! There's nothing bad to say about it. I must have picked this up from the sample stash ages ago. It's a wonderfully hydrating and plumping makeup base, perfect for the dry season we're in now. It's ideal for those who want to add moisture rather than color correction. The rich texture seems to create a smooth canvas that really helps your base makeup stay put. As someone with oily skin, this felt a bit too greasy for me... It also felt somewhat heavy on my skin... In any case, it doesn't seem to suit me. Thank goodness I didn't buy the full-size product!

Application method: I applied a thin layer only to the U-zone! Review after use: My makeup looks more hydrated and it prevents the makeup from separating. Even when I'm thorough with my skincare routine, thin areas like under the eyes tend to separate, but this product definitely helps address that issue. If you use a foundation that doesn't pair well with this product, your makeup will separate immediately after application, forcing you to wash your face and start over... It absorbs well and keeps my skin hydrated all day long. That's why I keep using it. The gold flakes... they don't come off easily. When I applied my cushion foundation, they seemed to disappear. I bought this on sale, and despite my extremely dry skin that usually loses both oil and moisture quickly no matter what I apply, I didn't feel the usual dryness with this product. It even made my skin look radiant. Considering the price, I'm quite satisfied. Seems like I made a lucky choice at the store! The gold particles are a bit too large, requiring more rubbing to blend in. While the rich feeling definitely lasts, the hydration seems to dissipate a bit faster.

I've tried similar products from other brands, but since I have super sensitive skin that's prone to blemishes if I use the wrong thing, A'pieu's cream is the only one that's never given me any issues. In summer, it turns my skin into an oil slick, unfortunately. Since I have combination dehydrated skin, I think those with dry skin types could probably use this year-round. Even with just a small amount, it gives you a glow! It's quite hydrating too. When I use this, my makeup seems to apply better. It's the first time I've bought a full-size product after trying samples and loving it. No regrets! However, I prefer a semi-matte foundation or no-sebum powder for a matte finish on the outside while keeping moisture inside, rather than having a shiny face. With this, I just feel deep dryness. For a short while, it creates a beautiful dewy makeup look with a lovely glow. That's about it... I feel like this product strips away all the oil and moisture from my skin after use. Even when I used it in the height of summer, my face felt so tight after removing my makeup in the evening, as if it was about to crack. I've stopped using it... There's nothing else to say. Just don't bother with it.
