The texture is creamy and absorbs slowly, making it ideal for dry skin. It works wonders as a makeup base. Apply it before foundation or cushion for a matte finish. This product is a great value for money with a pleasant scent. I bought it after noticing retinol-like ingredients mentioned at the bottom of the product description. Overall, I've been using it quite satisfactorily. While the fragrance is nice, it might be a bit too strong for those who prefer unscented products. That could be considered a drawback. ■Best features: After cleansing, apply 2-3 layers by patting it into the skin. You'll feel the hydration and no sense of dryness. Skin feels plump without any stickiness. ■Texture: Has a viscous consistency, better to apply with hands rather than using cotton pads for better absorption. ■Scent: Has a typical mature skincare fragrance, but it's not overpowering or off-putting. ■Packaging: The container is a bit heavy, but the pump works well, allowing you to use every last drop. ■Soothing: While using this product didn't cause any breakouts, it didn't feel particularly soothing either. ■Brightening: For a product claiming brightening benefits, the effects weren't very noticeable. There wasn't much change in my complexion. ■Ingredients: I only discovered the ingredient list when I checked the Hwahae app to write this review... I first bought this when I saw several sets on sale at a great price on home shopping. I'm really pleased that it doesn't irritate my skin and feels light enough to use without any worry. This product might be a bit disappointing for those with extremely dry skin.
