The Arencia Rice Cake Soap is a product you'll keep coming back to. It has a dense, chewy 'rice cake' texture that softens when you lather it in your hands, creating a nice adherent feeling on your face. Thanks to its grain and herb ingredients, it helps with dead skin cell care and managing sebum and blackheads. When used as a first cleanse, it thoroughly cleans out impurities deep in the pores, and I noticed a soothing effect on my skin—I saw a reduction in redness and blemishes. While it's great for cleansing, you might want a second cleanse for waterproof makeup. After washing, my skin feels hydrated without any deep dryness. Even with my super sensitive skin, I had no issues repurchasing! The jar-type container was inconvenient to use! I'm planning to try the tube version next time. First off, I love the scent - it's really pleasant. The exfoliating particles do a great job of sloughing away dead skin cells and refining skin texture. This helps maintain soft, clear skin, so I'd definitely recommend it. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to do much for blackheads or excess sebum, which is a bit disappointing. I've been using this consistently since this winter, and I absolutely love it! It's fantastic for managing pores and sebum control. It's a bit drying, but I didn't experience much irritation. I'd recommend it. When I first bought this, I used it daily hoping to smooth out my skin texture. I had to stop because my skin became sensitive, but I tried it again after a long break and wow! My skin became as smooth as a peeled egg! The downside is that it has small particles. If they get in your eyes, it's incredibly painful. After washing, my skin feels incredibly soft and smooth! Maximum richness! - There's a reason it's called a "rice cake soap." It's super rich and creamy! That's why even a small amount lathers up well! Pleasant scent! - Fragrance can be subjective, but I really liked it. You might expect it to smell like mugwort based on its appearance, but surprisingly, it has a delightful aroma! It might be irritating for those with super sensitive skin. The granules don't dissolve, so you can feel them scraping your skin every time you massage your face. The pot-type container is quite inconvenient. You need to use a spatula with this product, which means you have to dry your hands completely before use. Plus, you have to wash and dry the spatula after each use, which is a bit of a hassle. I wish it came in a tube format! I have slightly sensitive skin too, but I find that cleansing with very gentle pressure reduces irritation! Of course, this might seem obvious, but some people think they need to scrub hard to remove all impurities completely! Also, I use separate cleansers for morning and evening, and this one works perfectly as my evening cleanser!! After using it, my skin feels smooth. There's no residue left behind, and it removes makeup effectively. While it does a good job of removing dead skin cells, it only clears about 40% of blackheads. Dampen your face with warm water, then dry your hands. The texture is delightfully bouncy, and it rinses off so well - I love it! I'm not sure if it's because my face tends to feel warm, but I noticed a pleasant warming sensation when I applied it. Even though I have oily and sensitive skin, I'm absolutely loving this product. It's my go-to cleanser on days when I wear makeup! I don't have any! It's so good that I can't find any drawbacks or areas for improvement...

I bought this hoping it would be good for pore cleansing, but I didn't see much of an effect. It's also not particularly budget-friendly. For better pore cleansing, try using it like a face mask: apply it without water, then later rinse off with water. This method works wonders for deep cleaning the pores.
