For a water tint, it was less drying than expected! The color is somewhere between brick and orange-red. The packaging didn't leak or cause any issues. It's not quite a perfect water tint - more like a hybrid between a water tint and a gel tint. Controlling the amount can be a bit tricky. Be careful when applying, as even a thin layer can be quite pigmented due to the intense color!

Since it's a water-based formula, it can be a bit drying. Also, the stain is quite stubborn and doesn't come off easily. Make sure to use a lip remover to thoroughly clean off the stain.

While Dress Up initially has a nice color, its staining power is incredible. Please refer to the photo below for reference. The color of this one is a bit deep, but it's not unwearable. When first applied, it's just a red that doesn't alter your skin tone, and when it stains, it becomes more of a rose red? Even for me with my warm complexion, it wasn't bad at all. The texture is that of a non-drying water tint. Unfortunately, when applied, it doesn't stain the upper lip well. Absolutely avoid rubbing your lips together; instead, apply it separately to the upper lip to ensure it stains properly. The applicator tip doesn't allow for good control of the amount, so you need to wipe off some excess. Like Dress Up, this one also has incredible staining power. While this might be an advantage for those who love long-lasting stains, it's not for me. I use this mainly to stain the inner part of my lips since I don't touch up my makeup. I didn't expect much more from this type of formula anyway, as it's hard to apply evenly all over the lips. It's worth buying for the affordable price. The color is a slightly pink-tinted red. My lips are neither thin nor thick, but since this isn't a completely watery formula, it can end up on your teeth if you're not careful. The color applies richly and feels incredibly smooth going on. It's almost like a gel tint! I thought the shade was really pretty too. If you're not a fan of intense colors, you might want to skip this one. It emphasizes dead skin cells to an average degree, but I noticed it tends to create a 'yogurt effect' quite a bit, unfortunately. The staying power is great, and I love that there's no transfer after blotting with a tissue. It's a bit disappointing that regardless of the color, it always leaves a pink stain on the lips.

It absorbs beautifully, has great staying power, and the color payoff is absolutely fantastic! The scent was the biggest letdown. Every time I apply it, the fragrance makes it difficult to use this tint regularly. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSep 17, 2019
I swatched it on the back of my hand in-store and bought it right away. The color itself is really pretty. Maybe because my lips are chapped 365 days a year, but it stains the inside of my lips intensely while fading unevenly on the outer part, leaving a patchy look. The color is beautiful - exactly the red I love! When applied to the lips, it feels moisturizing for a brief moment and then quickly absorbs, leaving a lovely stain. Well, like all water-based tints, if not applied carefully, it can create lines on the lips as time passes... This is a tint that requires some skill and practice to apply properly!
