The texture isn't like a watery essence, but more of a thin emulsion. It has a nice balance of hydration and richness, making it comfortable to apply without feeling heavy. Although I bought it on sale, the regular price is quite steep considering the volume and performance. It's hard to justify purchasing at full price. When layering skincare products, it's best to apply from thinnest to thickest consistency. If it weren't for the price, this would be my holy grail product! I snagged it for just $25 during a social media sale, and it's exceeded my expectations so much that I've been using it exclusively lately. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I find oils too greasy and creams not quite enough. But this product has just the right amount of richness that works perfectly for me. The fragrance is lovely, and the pump dispenser keeps it hygienic. Even in winter, I only need this and my toner - it's spot on for preventing deep dryness. After buying it at a discount, I looked it up and realized it's actually a higher-end product. As someone with super sensitive combination dehydrated skin, this product has made my complexion so smooth! I'm most satisfied with how it's perfectly balanced - not too much, not too little. The price is wickedly high, making me hesitate every time I buy it... But I still purchase it because the product is so good. For those who dislike the heavy feeling of emulsions, this absorbs smoothly and deeply hydrates the skin. After using it as a set with products from the same line, my skin noticeably became more firm and supple. Even with my super sensitive skin, it worked well without causing any blemishes. While it has a scent, it's a subtle black tea fragrance that I think most people would find pleasant. The pump packaging is hygienic. It's quite expensive for the amount you get. Currently, I'm only repurchasing the runny essence and cream from the same line. For those who dislike the heavy feeling of emulsions, this could be a great alternative. If you feel it's not quite enough, try layering a small amount of facial oil on top for added richness.
