It evens out the skin tone nicely. My complexion looks moderately brighter. The way it absorbs is also decent. Am I the only one experiencing pilling with this? Even when I only apply a hydrating serum before this sunscreen, it still pills. It keeps flaking off like dead skin cells... I'm too embarrassed to use it because it looks like I have flaky skin. Even after exfoliating, it still pills, just to a lesser degree. I've never been disappointed with Abib products before, so I had high hopes when I bought this. It's expensive, yet it pills like this... I'm so disappointed. They seem to excel at making skincare basics, but their sunscreen is far from impressive. The product being discussed appears to be a sunscreen from the brand Abib. The reviewer is experiencing significant issues with the product pilling (forming small balls or flakes) on their skin, which is a common problem with some sunscreens. They've tried various application methods, including using it over just a serum and exfoliating beforehand, but the issue persists. The reviewer expresses disappointment, especially given the product's high price point and their previous positive experiences with the brand. - dm*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRecommendedJul 8, 2025
This brightening moisturizer is less drying and matches my skin tone perfectly, making it ideal for a foundation-free makeup look. If you have oily skin, be sure to dust some powder on your forehead and nose to keep shine at bay! It's quite rich, so I wouldn't recommend it for those with extremely oily skin. However, as someone with combination dehydrated skin, I actually found it quite suitable. This product works well for those looking for a natural complexion enhancer that doesn't dry out the skin. It's particularly good for those with normal to dry skin types. For oily skin types, using a setting powder in key areas can help control excess shine throughout the day. - gk********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinJul 8, 2025
Effectively covers redness and creates a natural, bare-faced look After a week of use on acne-prone and sensitive skin, blemishes appeared, leading to discontinued use. Product tends to pill after some time - sj******Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 7, 2025
It brightens up your complexion when applied for coverage. The sticky feeling is minimal. You need to spread it evenly. Otherwise, it can look patchy. The application isn't as natural as I'd like. Spread a small amount evenly. Don't apply too much, or it can make your skin look grayish. - se**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 28, 2025

I've found my holy grail brightening moisturizer with SPF... I'm absolutely thrilled! I usually only used chemical sunscreens. Brightening sunscreens often left a white cast, making my face look ghostly pale, or had poor absorption. For these reasons (and similar issues with mineral sunscreens), I've always stuck to chemical formulas. When I heard Abib, a brand I regularly use, released a brightening sunscreen, I was intrigued. After seeing positive reviews from YouTubers, I decided to take the plunge and buy it right away. First off, it has a texture that changes color to match your complexion as you blend it, similar to old-school CC creams. As you can see in the second photo, there are tiny capsules embedded in the white cream. As you massage it in, these capsules burst, transforming the product into a beige tone that matches your skin, as shown in the third photo! We all know how nice it is to go foundation-free in summer, right? This brightening sunscreen is perfect for that! Lately, I've been using this as my base, finishing with just a touch of concealer. It feels light on the skin, and amazingly, it has great staying power! I have combination dehydrated skin, so usually, my face gets oilier as the day goes on. However, this product doesn't wear off significantly and doesn't darken, which I love. It gives the impression of brightened skin that's seamlessly absorbed. Also, we all know it's best to reapply sunscreen frequently when you're out for long periods. But it's such a hassle to remove your makeup, reapply sunscreen, and then put on cushion foundation again. This product solves all those problems in one go, which is so convenient! However, since the product's strength lies in its natural brightening effect, it may not suit those expecting strong coverage or a dramatically whitening effect. Also, if you apply this product immediately after your skincare routine, it might pill slightly (probably because you need to massage it in). To avoid this, make sure your skincare products are fully absorbed, or gently pat the sunscreen with a puff after application for a smooth finish. This brightening moisturizer with SPF seems to be a game-changer for those seeking a natural, glowing complexion without the hassle of multiple products. It's particularly suited for those who prefer a light, fresh-faced look, especially during warmer months. The color-adapting technology is innovative, providing a custom match to your skin tone. However, it's important to note that it may not provide heavy coverage or dramatic whitening effects, which some users might be looking for. As with any skincare product, proper application technique is key to achieving the best results. - ve*****RecommendedJun 26, 2025
This was my first time trying a brightening moisturizer with SPF, and I'm impressed! It doesn't leave much of a white cast and gives a natural-looking finish. It tends to leave a bit of residue on the hands, and you'll need to make sure your skincare routine is solid before using this. - ch*******Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 24, 2025
This sunscreen with bursting capsules is so fascinating! The texture isn't thick at all, it's lightweight and pleasant. It's perfect for those looking for a bare-faced, foundation-free look! If you're hoping for something with coverage like a BB cream for a foundation-free look, I wouldn't recommend this. It's truly lightweight and only provides slight evening of the complexion and blemish correction. - wj*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 19, 2025
Application: It glides on smoothly! It's quite hydrating and works well as a makeup base too. Brightening effect: The brightening isn't too intense. It gives you a natural, subtle lift in complexion, about half a shade lighter. Blemish reaction: None I'm really satisfied with this purchase. The ingredients list looks clean, it absorbs well, and the reviews were positive, which is why I decided to try it. The packaging and pumping mechanism are really disappointing. We're supposed to pump it while standing upright, but then all the product settles at the bottom and won't come out when you try to pump it. - ja******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 17, 2025
It absorbs smoothly while naturally evening out my skin tone, leaving my complexion looking beautiful. I'm very satisfied with the results. There's a bit of darkening, so I'll need to be more diligent with my powder or base makeup application.
