Can't really tell... Maybe a subtle glow? That's about all I can say! I bought this because it was supposed to control oil, but I don't see much difference. It's extremely drying and makes my makeup look like it's floating on my skin. None - tr*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 25, 2025
The product itself isn't bad, but I absolutely can't recommend it due to the flimsy packaging. I had the violet version of this product before, and it broke. I thought maybe I didn't take good care of it, so I regretfully repurchased in pink. After using it for a month, it broke again in the same way. There's still plenty of product left, but I have to throw it away since I can't carry it around anymore. No matter how good the contents are, how can anyone use it when the case is in such a state? When I contacted Ameli, they only gave a generic response without any real solution. Judging by their attitude, it doesn't seem like a brand that will last long in the market. - sq**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 6, 2024
I have dry skin with oiliness only in the T-zone and U-zone. For my preferred skin look, I favor a neat, powder-finished appearance rather than an ultra-dewy glow. That's why I always finish with powder, and this product is great for easy application. The case is also travel-friendly with its large mirror. Among the three Ameli powders I own (including white and violet), this is my most-used product. I was initially concerned it might look too white or shimmery, but it actually gives a lovely brightening effect and adds vitality to my complexion! It also controls oil well. With its ability to set makeup while providing a radiant, polished skin look, it's perfect for my needs. The puff might get dirty quickly, and since it's not a washable type, it doesn't seem very cost-effective! I find using a brush works best for applying all over the face, while the puff is great for spot-touching and blending in specific areas. - an*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 1, 2024
The staying power of my base makeup has improved tremendously. I'm currently using the Blanc Diva cushion, which already has great longevity. But with this powder, it's on another level! When touching up the cushion, there's a slight caking due to the powder, but it's not unbearable. There's nothing particularly bad to mention! The quantity is generous and it's great overall. It's solid and high-quality - I highly recommend you buy it! - ya********Oily SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 22, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I've been a fan of Ameli's existing 003 Violet powder, and I think the 002 Light Pink color will be just as useful, giving the skin a soft, luminous finish. As a baked powder, the particles are incredibly fine, allowing for a smooth application that feels velvety without being overly dry or chalky. I find that baked powders tend to adhere better to the skin compared to loose powders, which is a definite plus! Another advantage of the baked formula is how easy it is to control the amount you use. Beginners often struggle with applying too much powder, resulting in a heavy look. The baked texture makes it simpler to apply just the right amount, making it an excellent choice for those new to powder products. The pink undertone provides a slight color-correcting effect, giving a brightening boost to the skin. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for that coveted 'porcelain skin' effect! The only downside, which other reviewers have mentioned, is the lack of a separate compartment for the puff. Most powder products typically include a space for the puff, but the Ameli powder doesn't have this feature. As a workaround, I just place the puff on top of the original protective plastic cover before closing the lid. Personally, I only use a powder puff when I'm out and about. At home, I prefer using a brush for powder application as it allows for a lighter touch. When it comes to the Ameli 002 Light Pink powder specifically, I recommend using a small brush to apply it in light layers. This technique works particularly well with this powder due to its pearlescent finish, allowing for more precise application and control. - b3*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 22, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I had assumed it was just a powder, but I loved how it left my skin looking bright and matte. The subtle shimmer gave my complexion a beautiful glow that I really enjoyed! However, I wouldn't recommend this for those who like to apply powder all over their face. The shimmer is quite noticeable, and you might end up looking like you've applied highlighter everywhere. Also, like many other reviewers, I found the puff disappointing. It's too thin, doesn't pick up the powder well, and there's no separate compartment to store it, which raises hygiene concerns. - tj********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 21, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

But when I heard about the new pink version of the Amelie Powder, I just had to try it. Highly recommended for dry skin types as a summer powder! Despite having extremely dry skin and typically avoiding matte looks (even in summer I prefer a dewy finish), the Amelie Powder surprised me. It has fine shimmer particles that blend seamlessly with my moisturizing base, creating a natural glow rather than a flat, matte appearance. Perfect for those who find bold highlighters overwhelming! At first application, the effect wasn't immediately noticeable. However, in natural light, I could see a subtle pink beam. It's not flashy or over-the-top; instead, the fine particles seem to meld with the skin, giving it a natural, healthy glow as if you just have great skin. The staying power isn't particularly impressive, so it might be challenging for those with oily skin to use during the summer months. - ju********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresJun 21, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It somewhat corrects large pores and skin texture (though not completely) and enhances makeup longevity. - I accidentally dropped it from waist height once, and it didn't break, so it seems sturdier than expected? - The smooth pink tint doesn't last very long. - Expensive price point. You can buy foundation cushions for around $20 when on sale, so hesitating to purchase this powder at this price if it's not discounted. While you can apply it beautifully with the included puff, using a brush allows for a wider and lighter application. (Personally, I found using a brush more satisfying for skin appearance and finish.) - je**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 21, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

That's why powder compacts are a must-have in my bag when I go out. I've been using this product consistently since I received it recently. First off, the powder particles are incredibly fine, and the color is a subtle pink that isn't overwhelming. If you look closely, you can see some shimmer particles, but once applied, they're not noticeable. Instead, they create a beautiful, subtle reflection when caught in the light. While I had no issues with how it feels on the skin, I found it a bit inconvenient that there's no space for the sponge inside the case. This means the sponge can fall out if you open it hastily. I loved that it's a bright pink powder that absorbs excess oil effectively. Even when my skin tone looks a bit dull, applying this gives me a radiant boost. Personally, I found it works better and lasts longer when I lightly pat it onto my skin rather than rubbing it in. This technique helps it sit nicely on top of the skin. - co*********Combination SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJun 21, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

As someone with oily skin, I've struggled with makeup meltdown in summer. Regular powder felt heavy, so I was constantly using blotting papers to keep my makeup alive(?) But Ameli's Baked Powder feels even lighter than 'silky smooth' when applied, making it perfect for summer use. It's great for adding a touch of radiance and subtle glow, rather than heavy coverage, and helps prevent makeup from breaking down. It's disappointing that there's no middle lid, so when you remove the film, the puff touches the product directly. While the packaging design is compact and pretty, it's a bit inconvenient to carry around. If you've lost the film that goes under the puff, try using paper blotting sheets instead! They absorb excess oil from the puff and you can change them daily, which helps keep things a bit more hygienic, even if only slightly!
