Surprisingly, perhaps due to the ingredients that settle at the bottom (said to help control sebum), after applying just the toner and waiting for about a minute, my skin felt wonderfully soft! It's absolutely amazing. The texture feels so good that I almost don't want to apply emulsion or cream on top of it. Also, while using CPI cream or Cicalfate, I thought Avène was unscented, but the powdery and slightly subtle fragrance of this toner is actually quite pleasant and not off-putting at all. It's moisturizing and gentle! Since it's quite rich, I only use this in the summer. Sometimes it feels like it's sitting on top of the skin. For a basic skincare product, it feels a bit slippery.

At first it feels a bit sticky, but it gradually dries to a soft finish, making it a decent exfoliating toner for summer use. The signature Avène thermal spring water scent is quite strong, and it felt a bit drying on my skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 28, 2019
Great for sensitive skin! I tried something else out of curiosity, but it had a strong chemical smell, so I came back to this. It's gentle and moisturizing. Since using it, my blemishes have noticeably decreased! The price is a bit steep. Still, it works well for me, so I keep using it. When your face feels hot and flushed, try this: soak a cotton pad in chilled toner and place it on areas prone to enlarged pores like your nose or cheeks. This is a product I always use. It's gentle on the skin, provides great protection, and even controls oil! While it's a bit pricey, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars, the quality of the product itself is excellent. The biggest drawback is definitely the high price. This is absolutely fantastic for summer use, especially if you have extremely oily skin like mine. After cleansing, I apply it with a cotton pad, and it leaves my skin feeling wonderfully matte. The thermal spring water ingredient is great for soothing the skin. I always keep it stocked and frequently use it as a mask with cotton pads. It quickly calms any redness or flushing. While it's good for preventing blemishes, it does feel a bit sticky. The stickiness can be a bit bothersome in summer, but it absorbs quickly so it wasn't a problem for me. Using it as a mask with cotton pads is excellent for calming the skin.

Highly recommended for sensitive skin, which is why I completely overhauled my skincare routine with this product. Initially, Avène felt great on my skin. However, over time, my skin started to react negatively. Now, even applying a small amount causes my face to turn red. For those whose skin agrees with it, you might enjoy using it as a toner mask by soaking a cotton pad and applying it to your face.
