The texture itself is incredibly soft. It might be too rich for those with warm undertones, but highly recommended for cool undertones. If you love matte lips, you'll likely adore this. It's absolutely stunning. It transfers easily, and the color appears slightly different from what I saw online. Other than that, I don't have any particular complaints. It looks beautiful when layered with other colors. For those with warm undertones, try applying this on the inner part of your lips and blending it with a very light warm pink base for a gorgeous effect. For cool undertones, it's needless to say - it's simply beautiful on its own. - je*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 9, 2025
The color builds up beautifully, looks pretty, and has great staying power. Really good! It seems to emphasize dead skin cells a bit, and the color becomes dull as you layer it on. - yu*******Combination SkinInner DrynessNov 22, 2024
The color payoff is vibrant, and even though it's a matte lip product, I loved that it had just the right amount of staining effect. It's a matter of personal preference, but the shade was a bit overwhelming, like a deep red bean color, and I really disliked the scent. - ci*****Combination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 11, 2024
The color is beautiful and the staying power is better than expected. I recommend it! While there's nothing particularly disappointing, the color might be a bit polarizing for some people. - jj*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessRecommendedMar 7, 2024
It works great as a lip base and looks beautiful even when applied on its own I regret not buying two instead of just one... feeling a bit disappointed - am*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 2, 2024
As someone who loved the BBIA Last Velvet Tint, I simply couldn't resist buying this. Even though it's been revamped over time, the color range is still absolutely gorgeous. Unlike the previous version, it seems to have a slightly oily texture that it can't quite shake off. However, it's still decent and I'm using it without any major issues. @Initial review on March 2, 2024 BBIA's 'Document' shade is a classic. 'Pretend to Forget' and 'More Elegant than a Flower' are definitely on my repurchase list before the year ends. Please don't discontinue these! - gt*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 3, 2024
- It's matte, so for a tint, it has long-lasting power and doesn't transfer easily. - The color has a slightly purple-tinted pink base that's perfect for cool complexions. Its subtle, not-too-intense pigmentation makes it great as a daily item. - The downside of matte formulas is that they can always accentuate dead skin cells, so you need to apply lip care first for a pretty finish. - I bought it to use as a base, but it doesn't match well with other colors as I expected. So I'm using it alone and need to apply multiple layers. - jl*****Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 17, 2023
The color is absolutely gorgeous!! It's exactly the shade I've been looking for. I highly recommend this to both warm and cool-toned beauties out there. There are no cons. I'm telling you, there's nothing bad to say. Why do I have to write something here when there's nothing wrong? - ca*****Combination SkinAcne SkinNov 9, 2023
My personal undertone is light. I also have a bit of a cool undertone, but I absolutely can't pull off pink or orange - I'm more of a slightly darker cool? Peripera's Pink Datagong and Rom&nd's Bear Pig are perfect matches for me. I bought this because it seemed like Bbia released some fall-appropriate muted colors. As Bbia is known for its long-lasting formulas, and true to its 'velvet' name, it feels incredibly soft and powdery. I was going to buy it at Olive Young, but they hadn't stocked it yet. So when I saw it on sale on the official website, I grabbed it. The delivery was super fast too. At first, it feels a bit moist, but it dries down when applied. I expected it to be exactly like the photo on the official website, but the color is much more intense than I thought. My natural lip color does play a part, but it's still way different from what's shown online. It's hard to figure out how to apply it... If you're looking for such an intense color, you might be better off with 'Dare to Forget'. Otherwise, you'll need to really nail your base makeup. - gk**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 5, 2023
While the official site calls it Plum Red, there's no actual red tint. It's a muted plum-beige color with a subdued feel. I'd recommend this calm, muted plum shade for those who don't suit deep or vibrant plums, or for first-timers wanting to try the plum trend. The newly released 'Pretty Good' line swatches on the hand as shown in the photo, but appears more subtle and delicate when applied to the lips. It's a good choice if you don't suit high-saturation colors or want a calm lip look for fall and winter. Peripera's tint has a cream-velvet texture. The soft cream formula doesn't feel very drying. The staying power is also good with minimal transfer. The scent is similar to the artificial candy smell of previous colors, but slightly fainter. However, it's still quite noticeable, so those sensitive to strong fragrances should be cautious. Personally, I find Peripera's velvet tint to have my favorite texture and decent staying power, so I don't have any major complaints.
