Hair removal lasts about 3 days. The chemical smell is less intense compared to other products. After applying the cream, use the included sponge dampened with water to wipe it off. The skin feels incredibly soft afterwards... (It might feel like you've applied conditioner, so you may want to keep wiping until that feeling goes away, but it's actually due to the moisturizing ingredients, so it's fine to leave it) If left on for over 10 minutes, red spots appear and there's a tingling sensation. As per the instructions, keeping it on for less than 10 minutes prevents this discomfort. I was surprised that the hair didn't dissolve immediately when rinsing with water as I expected. However, after sleeping overnight, the hair disappears. While I'm not sure where the hair goes, it's a bit disappointing that it takes a full day for the hair to vanish... and it grows back in just 3 days, which is another drawback. This is good for those who get skin irritation from razors. However, if you have a lot of hair and want a thorough hair removal, using a regular razor might be less hassle. - dl*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 19, 2020 (UTC+0)
Unlike other products that stung immediately upon application and caused redness even after washing off quickly, taking forever to recover from, this one doesn't do that at all! Plus, the scent is milder compared to others I've tried. After some time has passed since using it, I'm noticing a bit of itchiness... Those with super sensitive skin might want to avoid this one... - sj********Oily SkinAcneRecommendedMay 10, 2020 (UTC+0)
I applied it by spreading it with my hands. I got the 150ml bottle on sale at a nearby Olive Young store. It's an entry-level product for me. I found it easy to use. After washing once, I waited a bit, removed excess moisture, applied the cream, waited 5-10 minutes, and then rinsed it off with water. As a woman with long, thick, and abundant hair, I noticed it did remove a significant amount of hair. The downside is, as I mentioned earlier, since I have more hair than average, it didn't achieve a completely smooth hair removal. There were still many short hairs left, and you can still see the pores... Also, there's a slight tightening sensation on the skin for a few minutes after hair removal. It might be good to apply an emulsion or soothing gel afterward. My friend with sensitive skin said it was a bit itchy, though I was fine. Additionally, the effects didn't last long. Personally, about a week later, about half of the hair had grown back to a visible length. When applying this, don't be stingy - if you use too little, you might need to do it twice like I did... I recommend applying it generously. Also, if you wet a sponge and gently scrub under running water, the hair removal works even better! But be careful not to scrub too hard, as it can cause redness on sensitive skin. - by******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcneRecommendedApr 5, 2020 (UTC+0)
This stuff is amazing! When I rub it on my legs or stomach after washing my hair, it's like I'm shedding dead skin cells like crazy. It really works hard to exfoliate! But seriously, do not use this for Brazilian waxing or anywhere near that area. It's causing a burning sensation down there right now. - lj*****Dry SkinAug 30, 2019 (UTC+0)
The positive aspect is... it does remove hair effectively. The sponge that comes with it allows for a painless and smooth application in one go, which is great. Compared to the previous product I used (though I can't remember which brand), this one was more convenient for hair removal during showers. I didn't realize the ingredients were problematic until after I bought it... I still have a lot left, but I'm wondering if I should buy a new one. No wonder I was getting blemishes after using this. The underarm area is sensitive, and I feel like it's gotten worse since using this product. Also, it's really hard to squeeze out of the tube. Even with all my strength, the cream doesn't come out easily. This might vary depending on hand strength, but that was my experience. A lot of product ends up on my hands, which is wasteful - I can't tell if more is on my hands or my underarms. Like most hair removal products, the smell is quite strong. To minimize discomfort, make sure to soak the included sponge thoroughly in water before applying it to your underarms! - lk*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedAug 13, 2019 (UTC+0)
I have super sensitive skin! So I'm always extra careful when choosing body products. Among the various types of hair removal products, cream formulas seem to be the gentlest and least irritating. This one's from a British brand with 30 years of tradition, maintaining the top spot in hair removal products. That gave me confidence right away! The main advantage is its convenience. Instead of plucking, it dissolves the hair. You just apply it, wait a bit, then rinse off in the shower for easy and clean hair removal. Plus, thanks to its ingredients, it left my skin feeling moisturized and soft, as if I'd just had a spa treatment! The downside? The scent, perhaps. Also, since the underarm area is quite delicate, it might cause a slight tingling sensation there. It's probably best to focus on using it on legs and arms. Other than that, it's a satisfying product that's easily available at Olive Young, LaLa Blah, and Lohb's! #HairRemovalCream #Smoothness #Cream #ShowerHairRemovalCream #BeautyFormula #SummerEssential Apply before showering, then use the provided sponge to gently rub it off while showering for effective hair removal!
tp*******Oily SkinAcneSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 10, 2019 (UTC+0)- Scent: I thought it would have that typical hair dye smell of hair removal creams, but it's not that strong at all! - Texture: It's somewhere between a soft cream and a mousse, making it easy to apply! - Experience: The sponge isn't hard but soft, so it's gentle on the skin. I left it on for about 5-6 minutes before removing, and the hair dissolved well without any tingling sensation. It was disappointing that the cream doesn't spread well with the sponge, so I had to use my hands... - ga******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedAug 9, 2019 (UTC+0)
1. Easy to use Just apply and rinse with water - hair removal done! 2. Gentle on skin Minimal irritation, and even more moisturizing when you apply the included hydrating cream 3. Effective hair removal Efficient results for the effort (Note: being a cream, it can't remove hair roots and may leave marks) 4. Value for money Great results even with small amounts, and surprisingly enough product to use on arms, legs, underarms, etc. Harsh scent The strong, chemical odor reminiscent of cheap hair dye is really off-putting For best results, apply a thick layer to fully cover the hair (quickly, without rubbing), and gently wipe off with water and the included sponge within 10 minutes - ha*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinAug 6, 2019 (UTC+0)
Personally, I didn't experience any itching or tingling, and it felt less irritating than other products I've used before. When removing it with a sponge, it felt much gentler than using a spatula. The post-depilatory balm contains ingredients like sunflower seed oil and cocoa butter, which are effective for moisturizing, nourishing, and soothing. When applied to dried skin after hair removal, it made my skin feel even smoother! The scent is reminiscent of rosehip oil mixed with a hint of perm solution. It's not overpowering, so it wasn't unpleasant. After applying the post-depilatory balm, there was a slight burning sensation for about 20-30 minutes, but it did have a cooling effect. It felt like it was calming the irritated skin. The post-depilatory balm has a balm-like texture, so it took a little time to absorb. Nevertheless, it seems to work well when used together with the hair removal cream. For those with super sensitive skin, I strongly recommend testing on a small area first before full application. - pk*****Normal SkinSensitive SkinJul 5, 2019 (UTC+0)
I bought this product as a replacement since this company's shea butter hair removal cream was sold out. While gentleness is important, if I focus primarily on its hair removal effectiveness, I find it difficult to list many positives. If I had to find one, I'd say that the distinctive scent typical of hair removal creams lingers less after use compared to others. I initially tried using my existing razor-style spatula, but it just pushed the cream around. So I had to redo the hair removal using the included sponge. While the sponge works better than the spatula, you need to wipe firmly, almost scrubbing, for it to be effective. Some areas were completely hair-free, but others still had short stubble-like hairs remaining.
