I started using this product because I had a lot of sebum around my chin area. The massage parlor I frequented recommended using a PHA peeling gel, so I did some research and decided to purchase it. It's gentle and non-irritating, providing a smooth massage experience. After use, my skin doesn't feel dry at all - instead, it feels hydrated. Plus, it helps smooth out my previously uneven skin texture. I didn't have any major disappointments after using this product. It didn't cause any blemishes or tingling sensation. I didn't apply it to my entire face, but rather used it sparingly on specific areas that needed attention, like around my nose and chin. - dn********Oily SkinAcne SkinDec 28, 2024
The texture is a bit unique - it feels like small particles clumping together, but not completely melting. The cleansing effectiveness isn't bad. While it's an exfoliating product that could potentially irritate, it doesn't feel too harsh. The user experience is not great. When applied, it peels off like white dead skin cells, but doesn't come off immediately. Instead, it sticks to your face, making it annoying to wash off. Even after scrubbing hard, it feels like something's left behind. I'm not sure if it really has much of an exfoliating effect. - ni**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinDec 16, 2024
The only positives are that it's fragrance-free and somewhat moisturizing. I guess it feels hydrating... probably because it doesn't actually remove any dead skin cells. A peeling gel is supposed to exfoliate, but this one barely does anything. My makeup was flaking so badly that I removed it, thoroughly massaged this peeling gel in, and reapplied my makeup. But what? The flakiness was exactly the same as before. I thought maybe it was just my imagination, so I tried it a few more times, but nope, it wasn't just in my head. What's the point of an exfoliator that doesn't exfoliate? Sure, it's gentle and moisturizing, but that's not what you're meant to be! You're not a hydrating mask! - su****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 22, 2024
The best part was that there wasn't much irritation after use. My face didn't turn red or become dry. I love how it made my skin feel soft. It doesn't completely remove dead skin cells. You'll probably need to take care of blackheads and such separately. - eo*****Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 22, 2024
The scent isn't overpowering, and it gently exfoliates dead skin cells without causing irritation No real drawbacks to speak of. You can get it at a great value during Olive Young sales - tt*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRednessRecommendedApr 1, 2024
It's great that it doesn't irritate my super sensitive skin. Even when it touches my lips or eyes, there's no tingling sensation. I can't tell if it's exfoliating well because I don't feel any sensation at all. - sy******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedDec 6, 2023
As someone with super sensitive skin, I've been using this gel for 3 years straight. It's been my go-to product consistently, and I'm disappointed it's been discontinued. During the dry winter months, this product alone isn't enough to combat dryness. You'll need to use it in combination with a hydrating moisturizer. - im*******Dry SkinRecommendedJul 18, 2023
- It's really great for everyday use! The scent and value for money are both quite good. - I use it once every 1-2 weeks, and the longer you roll it on, the longer it lasts. Well, there's nothing particularly bad about it. If I had to nitpick, maybe the fact that the instructions aren't clearly written on the tube? For best results, apply it to a dry face and massage for at least 3 minutes! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 23, 2022
This product is gentle and causes minimal irritation to the skin. I can use it for exfoliation about twice a week without any significant skin irritation. I'm a bit unsure whether the white bits that come off are my whiteheads or just regular dead skin cells. It's somewhat puzzling... You know it's essential to nourish your skin after exfoliating, right? Make sure to apply a good moisturizer afterwards. - eu********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedOct 29, 2022
This exfoliator is gentle on the skin. Compared to other peeling products, it has a softer rolling sensation. While it has a basic, soft texture, you need to leave it on for quite a while after application to actually see dead skin cells being removed. Its mildness is a plus, but it doesn't thoroughly exfoliate. To get a proper peeling effect, you have to wait longer than with other products, which was slightly disappointing.
