Skin type: Combination with oily T-zone and butterfly zone, slightly dry in winter Why I recommend it: Wow, I've finally found my holy grail cushion! First off, the staying power is absolutely mind-blowing. It lasts over 10 hours without needing touch-ups - truly legendary performance! Secondly, I experienced zero darkening, which is a huge plus. I even asked my friends to check, and they confirmed no darkening at all. It's become my ultimate go-to product. Thirdly, it applies moisturizing at first, then settles into a semi-matte finish, which I love since I'm not a fan of super dewy looks. I usually add some powder on top. This cushion is versatile for both winter and summer - it's an all-rounder! Overall, I'm completely satisfied with this Black Diation cushion in every aspect. I highly recommend giving it a try! Since I'm meticulous with my skincare routine before makeup, I don't experience much pilling. However, those who are less thorough with their base might notice more dead skin cells or texture issues. Also, the coverage isn't particularly outstanding. Lastly, the design leaves something to be desired. The reviewer emphasizes the product's exceptional longevity, lack of oxidation, and versatile finish. They appreciate its performance across seasons and its ability to suit their combination skin type. The cons mentioned are minor and mostly speculative, focusing on potential issues for those with different skincare habits and the product's design. - nq********Normal SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedJul 18, 2025
As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I love how this cushion keeps my skin hydrated while giving a beautiful matte finish! The complexion looks absolutely gorgeous right after application. The only downside is that after some time, it seems to darken a bit on the skin, which is a bit disappointing. Despite the slight darkening issue, the initial results are impressive for those with combination dehydrated skin looking for a product that balances hydration and a matte appearance. - hs******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 18, 2025
The coverage is excellent, with almost no darkening, and it effectively neutralizes redness! For those with extremely dry skin, you might experience a bit of caking around the nose area. I highly recommend prepping your skin with a thorough skincare routine including mist, moisturizer, serum, and toner pads before application! - la********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 18, 2025
It applies incredibly thinly and gives a beautiful skin finish. As soon as I used it, I thought, "Wow, this is great!" It's truly my holy grail cushion. The staying power is excellent too. While it might be due to my skin, if not applied carefully, the foundation can pill slightly. If you lay a solid skincare foundation, you'll achieve a gorgeous complexion. - sz********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 11, 2025
The texture is moisturizing, yet it offers great coverage! It adheres well to the skin, so I'm really satisfied after applying it. Even as it wears, it still looks beautiful, making me reach for it often! If I had to point out two drawbacks, they would be: 1. Longevity and 2. Darkening. Perhaps due to the summer heat, the cushion melts quickly. However, it doesn't wear off unattractively, so with a little touch-up and reapplication, it looks pretty again. As for darkening, the cushion itself doesn't seem to come in a particularly light shade, and it gets darker over time. I'd recommend buying a shade lighter than your usual. If you press it gently into your pores for better adherence and then really work it into the skin, it creates a truly beautiful complexion! - km******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedJul 7, 2025
My skin type is dry, but I sweat a lot on my face, so I chose the blue version instead of pink. I've had friends with different skin types try it too, and it works well for oily, combination, normal, and combination dehydrated skin. The color has a pinkish tone - compared to other #22 shades, it seemed to suit those with #23 complexions better. If you have #22 skin, I'd recommend trying #21. My job keeps me outdoors for over 9 hours, and I only need to touch up once during that time. For someone like me who used to touch up 2+ times with other cushions and finds it annoying, I definitely recommend this. The coverage is medium, so if you have inflamed blemishes, I'd suggest using a separate concealer. I wouldn't recommend this for those with very dry or dry skin. Even though it's meant to be good for summer use, I think those with dry skin might experience some pilling or patchiness around the nose area (unless your face tends to get hot or sweaty). Here's my personal tip: After picking up product with the puff, I like to adjust the amount on the inside of the compact lid before applying it to my face. - bx********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 17, 2025
As someone with combination skin, I know the struggle - use the wrong base and your T-zone turns into an oil slick while your cheeks feel parched. But this foundation? It's the perfect semi-matte formula that balances both areas beautifully! When I first applied it, I was impressed by how it set to a slightly powdery finish while still keeping my skin feeling hydrated underneath. The coverage is pretty solid too, I'd say medium to high. It easily conceals redness and minor blemishes in one go, and despite its thin application, it adheres to the skin amazingly well. No darkening throughout the day - just consistently beautiful skin. I have to give special praise to how smoothly it glides over pores without settling into them. Touch-ups are a breeze too. Just pat it on gently and it blends seamlessly, looking as fresh as when first applied. The glow is subtle and not over-the-top, perfect for achieving that trendy clean skin look that's all the rage right now. Given its hydrating formula, it might get a tad shiny in the T-zone during summer. A light dusting of powder helps keep things under control. Also, while the staying power is good, it's not extremely long-lasting. For extended outings, you might want to bring along a compact for touch-ups, just to be on the safe side. - ch********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 16, 2025
The application was smooth and the coverage was decent. I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't darken my skin as much as I expected. Despite it being summer and me being diligent with my skincare routine, there was still patchiness in certain areas. - ga**********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 13, 2025
The staying power and coverage are fantastic! Even after working a 6-hour shift, my makeup still looks flawless. It's truly beautiful and impressive! For those who find the Blanc et Viva Glim Cushion a bit drying, I highly recommend giving the Water Velvet version a try! Apart from a very slight darkening effect as time passes, I don't have any other complaints. This foundation works hard to maintain your complexion throughout the day. It absorbs well without feeling sticky, leaving you with a natural glow. The formula seems to balance oil and moisture effectively, making it suitable for combination dehydrated skin types. It evens out the skin tone beautifully, helping to minimize the appearance of blemishes and pores. - kr********Combination SkinDark CirclesDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 12, 2025
This is seriously amazing! It's a true semi-matte formula, but the finish is incredibly velvety! Creasing? Nope, not at all. Darkening? Absolutely not. You can trust this product 100%, no joke! The amount is generous, and it's super easy to control how much you use. I'm begging you, please give this a try! There's nothing, nothing, nothing bad to say about this at all!
