The coverage is good, but I can't think of any other particularly positive aspects It applies thickly and tends to separate badly. I've tried various application methods, but none of them helped it adhere well to my skin. The color is also too dark. Among Bobbi Brown foundations, this was definitely the worst for me - dl******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 10, 2020
As a foundation nomad, I'm on my third bottle of this. It's amazing how it gives a dewy skin finish while still providing coverage. The coverage is actually quite good! Plus, the ingredients are gentle, so even with my sensitive skin, I don't get any blemishes. Even when it starts to fade, it does so gracefully. The shade I used was the lightest one, but it's still a bit darker compared to other brands - about a shade 22? That's the main drawback for me. Also, the adherence could be better. When wearing a mask, it transfers quite a bit. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 19, 2020
As someone with dry and sensitive skin, I've struggled with using foundation and powder, but this was surprisingly good! It's a product I've been using consistently for over a year!! On days when my skin wasn't at its best, there was some slight pilling, but it's still the best foundation I've tried so far. Naturally, the more hydrating a product is, the less coverage it provides, so I was satisfied that it didn't separate on my skin. The dropper format made it inconvenient to use small amounts. Due to its bulk and weight, it wasn't suitable as a portable option. My skin couldn't handle touch-ups, so I wasn't able to reapply throughout the day. For those with sensitive and dry skin like mine, apply a generous amount of skincare first, then thinly layer the foundation twice for good coverage and a nice skin finish! I have extremely dry skin, so even after applying skincare, I mixed the foundation with a cream or emulsion before applying! - ye*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 21, 2020
Skin type: Dry and slightly sensitive This is incredibly moisturizing, so I highly recommend it for those with dry skin I loved it so much that I repurchased it The staying power is low... It seems to have almost no coverage - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 21, 2019
As someone with super sensitive skin, this is one of the few foundations that doesn't cause a reaction! It's hydrating and has a beautiful color. It also covers redness better than BB creams. Nothing particularly bad. The staying power might be slightly less than other foundations, but it's so hydrating and has good ingredients that I don't mind. - pe******Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 9, 2019
It worked perfectly on my dry areas, but was a bit heavy on my oily T-zone. I think this would be great for those with dry skin. It tends to separate when I sweat even a little. Since I'm prone to sweating on my nose, I found it inconvenient to keep touching up. This foundation might be best suited for those with combination dehydrated skin, as it provides good coverage for dry areas but may require more maintenance in oilier zones. - sm*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedMay 26, 2019
It's not a runny formula, but a rich cream texture. It contains skin-beneficial minerals, and I noticed a subtle shimmer even when applied to the back of my hand. I was told there's no actual glitter - it's the minerals creating that effect. On the face, it gives a healthy, radiant look to the skin texture when examined closely. The application is neither too thin nor too thick - just right. It provides adequate hydration and good coverage. Both longevity and coverage are above average. No blemishes occurred. I originally went to buy a serum foundation, but after testing it and seeing how it transferred excessively and left marks on my face immediately upon contact, I was shocked and opted for this instead. The shade is a bit dark for me. Even the lightest shade, Porcelain, seems to have a strong yellow undertone and looks darker than my natural skin tone... If only the color range was a bit lighter, I'd consider repurchasing. Everything else is satisfactory... Excluding the shade, the feel of this product is one of the best among the foundations I've tried. It's moderately moisturizing, suitable for use in all seasons. The good coverage might also be due to it being darker than my skin tone... I'm giving it 4 points because of the shade issue. Shade 22 might work better. As I noticed when applying NARS foundation, the compatibility between foundation and sunscreen seems crucial. Since this foundation is a bit dark, I intentionally apply a mineral sunscreen with a white cast beforehand. The white cast from the sunscreen lightens my face by one shade, then applying the foundation on top makes it less dark. For those with darker skin, try using a base that's one shade lighter before applying this. Still, it seems a bit dark for my skin tone though. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 10, 2019
As a guy with dry skin (except for an oily T-zone) and a slightly yellow, not-too-bright complexion, I can't recommend this enough to other men. It's seriously amazing! The color is so natural, and the coverage isn't too heavy, so it's undetectable - you can't tell if you're wearing it or not. I used to struggle with other foundations being too pale or obvious, even when I found the right shade, but this one nails the color. It's actually much darker than other foundations - I use shade 1, whereas I'd usually go for a 3 in other brands. When I tried shade 3, I looked like I'd gotten a spray tan! The darker shades are perfect for male users who don't want to look too made-up. If you have fair skin, choose your shade carefully! This runs surprisingly dark. When it breaks down, it gets really messy. It's not as hydrating as I'd hoped. They claim it has marine extracts, but I can't really tell the difference. I usually love Bobby Brown's signature foundation scent, but this one might be hit or miss for some people. It's also quite pricey. The staying power is just okay. I'm sticking with it mainly for the color match and how natural it looks. If you use a beauty sponge to apply it for the first time, it might pill a bit. It's not as hydrating as you might expect, so make sure to prep your skin with a good moisturizer before application. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 15, 2019
This product has been the best match for me out of all the ones I've used so far. The sand color was perfect - not too dark or too light. I don't have any particular complaints. I think you'll be fine as long as you choose a shade that matches your complexion. You can achieve a flawless complexion by applying it with a puff. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 9, 2019
★For skin that absolutely prefers super hydrating foundations: - Better coverage than skin serum. Personally, I didn't feel it was drier than skin serum (feels like a rich cream when applied) - The tone covers naturally. As expected from Bobbi Brown~ - Can be applied lightly and moisturizing. Definitely less heavy feeling compared to other foundations. - Less breakdown than skin serum. Also less transfer. - Definitely buy one shade lighter than your current Bobbi Brown foundation. I bought the same shade as my skin serum through a duty-free opportunity... it's much darker. Thought I mistakenly bought a shade too dark - The expensive price... it's a price that hurts your wallet - Heard it has many good ingredients, but I'm not sure about their effectiveness on improving my skin wrinkles It seems better to apply thinly with a brush rather than a sponge for a cleaner skin finish. Instead of layering with a brush, spread it thinly in one go, then lightly pat with a sponge to finish for a flawless makeup look.
