It has that classic Burt's Bees moisturizing feel we all know and love. The cinnamon scent wasn't really to my liking. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 14, 2019
This was my first experience with a Burt's Bees product. The lip balm had a rich consistency, making it suitable for winter use. I had no idea it contained so many harmful ingredients. I ended up getting tired of using it and threw it away. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 25, 2017
It's a reliable product that's easy to apply with its moisturizing and lightweight formula! However, the scent is reminiscent of curry or some kind of food aroma! Everything else about it is great though~ A solid choice for a quick application before heading out - mi*******Combination SkinFeb 5, 2017
I love that it's a limited edition. The unique cinnamon and ginger scent is really special and appealing. It seems to have a cilantro-like scent, but even though I'm not a fan of cilantro, I find it tolerable. It has a real winter vibe - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 14, 2017
I bought this on a whim because it was a limited edition and my friend was getting one too! The outer box has adorable cookie illustrations and a wintery scene - it's absolutely darling! As for the lip balm itself, it's decently moisturizing... not too different from other Burt's Bees lip balms I've tried. It smudges easily, breaks easily, and melts quickly... And the scent, oh dear! I was expecting a freshly baked cookie aroma, or at least a vanilla cookie scent, but this was so disappointing! The fragrance is just awful. Still, since it's Burt's Bees, I'm gritting my teeth and using it anyway! - co*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 8, 2017
I quickly snagged this when I heard it was limited edition and on sale. As expected from Burt's Bees lip balm, both the hydration and lasting power are quite good! The scent isn't exactly what you'd imagine when you hear 'Ginger Spice', but rather a subtle ginger aroma? Interestingly, the fragrance seems more pleasant when applied than just smelling it from the tube! At first, I was taken aback by the unfamiliar scent, but now I've grown accustomed to it and actually find it quite nice! Hmm, there's not really anything disappointing to mention. I'm satisfied with its effectiveness, but I think the scent might be quite polarizing! It's hard to describe - not quite a pure ginger scent, but not entirely something else either. It's a bit of an ambiguous fragrance, you could say? - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinDec 25, 2016
I snagged two of these limited edition balms. The ginger scent isn't overpowering, more of a subtle zing. I'm really enjoying them! Burt's Bees truly excels at moisturizing. The flavor matches the scent perfectly. There's nothing particularly bad... If I had to nitpick, I'd say the texture isn't just moisturizing, but feels a bit oily while hydrating, if that makes sense? For a beautiful look, apply a generous layer of this balm, let it absorb a bit, then blot it off before applying your tint. It creates a perfect base!
