It's really effective at helping to reduce blemishes. I loved how quickly it worked! It's too oily and transfers onto my pillow, which is frustrating... It doesn't absorb well into the skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 12, 2022
My skin lacks both hydration and oil, so I could use this product in various ways. It worked well after applying hand cream, after nourishing cream, and whenever my face felt dry. I could use it frequently without issues. At first, the scent might be hit or miss for some people. I liked it from the start, but my mom was surprised by it (though now she's bought her own and uses it). When I applied it to my bare face after cleansing, I experienced some irritation. Even after applying makeup, I can gently pat it around my eyes, nasolabial folds, and neck wrinkles with my fingertips. It doesn't ruin my makeup or let my skin get dry. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 2, 2021
When your skin feels dry and flaky with thickening dead skin cells, generously applying this for about 3 days will restore your skin to a soft, supple state. As it's an oil balm, it can make your skin look shiny, so it's best applied only at night. However, even with just nightly use, your skin will become healthier. - ql******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedJan 8, 2021
Rose enthusiasts, need I say more? This is absolutely fantastic! I just apply it to my wrist and keep sniffing it. It's so soothing, it melts my heart. The 28g size is quite generous. It'll last a long time with the ample amount. It's versatile too - use it as a lip balm, an eye cream, apply it to the under-eye area or chapped skin, and even on cuticles. Highly recommended for aromatherapy lovers! It would make a great gift, especially during seasonal changes in autumn and winter. I haven't found anything that works as effectively to heal chapped lips in one go. It's simply the best! The fragrance might fade with continued use. It seems like I should use it diligently, but it'll probably last a while as you only need a small amount. The jar packaging might be inconvenient for on-the-go use. Given the nature of aromatherapy essential oil products, stores often discount those nearing expiration. Don't pay full price - look for the best deals! - sw*********Dry SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 27, 2020
I absolutely adore this product and stocked up on it! First off, I love that it's made with natural oils. When I apply a small amount to my butterfly zone, my skin feels so comfortable and hydrated. Unlike regular spot balms that can be a bit sticky, this beauty balm has a better texture and absorbs well. The scent is subtle and natural, not artificial at all. I was surprised by the sudden price increase, but it's still available for around $10 on iHerb. I tried hard to find a substitute due to the price hike, but couldn't find anything comparable. It's even better than the Intensive Balm (in the tin case) that I already had. If the price doesn't come down, I might have to use that one instead, but it would be such a shame. I really hope this product doesn't get discontinued! While the size is conveniently small for carrying around, the glass container might be prone to breaking. Also, it doesn't come with a spatula. - ua******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 10, 2019
I had high hopes after seeing all the rave reviews, but it turned out to be a mismatch for my oily skin... Still, not wanting to waste money, I forced myself to use half the jar. The fragrance was nice, at least. Sadly, that's all this oil-rich person can say positively... Many reviews claimed it would make your skin soft and smooth overnight, but for me, it was just an oil festival. I clung to a sliver of hope that it might help soothe my skin or reduce blemishes, but alas, it was all in vain. If you have oily skin and accidentally bought this, or received it as a gift... use it as a lip balm. That seems to be the only way to salvage it... - de********Dry SkinRecommendedJan 6, 2019
As someone with dry skin who craves a glow, I prefer oils and balms. This product doesn't feel particularly fresh, but it's comforting. It's less fluid than an oil, packed with beeswax for a thicker consistency. It reminds me of the Charmzone balm, with a slightly firmer application that's still pleasant. The scent is nicer than Charmzone's artificial fragrance and creamier than Dr. Jart+. It can melt slightly in heated rooms. What I love is how it clings to the skin like a non-runny oil when applied. The ingredients list rose oil towards the bottom, with castor oil and beeswax prominent. No complaints about the formulation. The fragrance dissipates quickly, leaving behind a slightly stale scent. It's not as luxurious as I expected. Due to the beeswax and olive oil, it absorbs rather slowly. I'm still questioning whether this product is truly necessary. However, it does offer good value for money. Great for nails, cuticles, and lips. Best applied at night on the face. It's more effective at softening lip dead skin cells than most lip balms. - yu********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 21, 2018
I switched from Neal's Yard Remedies to this more affordable option for use at work. My office is extremely dry, and even with a humidifier, the skin around my eyes would often feel tight. But when I gently pat this around my eyes and cheekbones, there's no tightness at all. It works well under makeup and gives a dewy look that makes my skin appear healthier. I use it in so many ways - as a base for shimmer, as a primer before applying lipstick, and more. The best part? I've never experienced any blemishes, clogged pores, or makeup separation. It's truly problem-free! The scent is lovely too. There's not really anything to complain about, but compared to Neal's Yard Remedies, it does feel slightly more rich on the skin. It's great as a hand cream too. In winter, this beauty balm becomes an absolute essential! After finishing my makeup, I apply a bit under my eyes, around the eye area, and on my Cupid's bow. With this, I'm ready to face even the coldest weather. - an******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 12, 2018
As soon as I open the lid, I'm greeted by this wonderful herbal scent that instantly lifts my mood. I bought this as an alternative to Vaseline, which I heard can clog pores. While it's not quite as thick or barrier-forming as Vaseline, I personally prefer it. I've tried other balms, but none matched Vaseline's intense hydration. However, Vaseline sometimes caused blemishes if I applied it incorrectly, especially on days when my skin wasn't at its best. This balm has simple, quality ingredients, so I think it'll be really useful when applied over a solid skincare routine. It doesn't come with its own spatula. I'm using a cleaned spatula from another product. To be honest, in winter I'm drawn to balms with even more intense hydration, but those often don't have the best ingredients. I guess we can't have everything we want! It's great for massages too. Perfect for rough areas like heels and elbows, and surprisingly gentle enough for facial massages. I have very thin, sensitive skin that reacts even to oils. Sometimes even calendula oil can be irritating, and moisturizers with multiple oils are a disaster for my skin. But with this balm, I can massage for quite a while and my skin feels incredibly comfortable. The fragrance is lovely too. Before using the balm, I apply 3-4 layers of a hydrating toner or essence, and maybe an ampoule if my skin is extra dry. Then I do the 7-skin method with a compatible toner, followed by an oil-free cream for moisture. Finally, I apply this balm to dry areas, patting or massaging it in thoroughly. After it's absorbed, I smooth on a bit more all over. If you have combination skin, be careful with the amount - use more on dry areas and just a light touch on the T-zone. Your skin will feel so hydrated and comfortable in the morning! - ob******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinDec 15, 2017
Since everything feels dry in winter no matter what I apply, I chose a rich product. I've just started using it, so I'll write more after I've used it for a while longer. I think I need to use it more to really know. It's only been 2 days since I started using it.
