My skin suddenly became super sensitive, and even products I used to love started causing irritation. Plus, I went on a trip during a heatwave and was out in the scorching sun all day. My face was a mess, so I bought this product to help soothe it. 1. No eye irritation - Unlike some gel masks, this one doesn't sting your eyes at all. 2. Effectiveness - It makes my skin feel firmer. Usually, when I apply ampoules before a mask, my face ends up looking really shiny afterward. But with this mask, that oiliness is completely gone. It might be absorbing into the mask, but I think it's actually helping my skincare products penetrate better. Some sheet masks leave essence sitting on top of your skin, but this one seems to lock everything in and prevent it from evaporating or rubbing off on your pillow. 3. Texture - It's fascinating how it starts out white but turns clear over time. The konjac-like texture makes it fun to apply and remove. 1. Warmth - While wearing it was fine, I felt some heat on my cheekbones after removing it. 2. User experience - My face felt a bit dry and tight while wearing it, so I took it off after less than 2 hours. It's tricky to apply at first. It's super slippery and tears easily, so you need to be gentle and careful when putting it on. When you first apply it, the mask keeps sliding down. 3. Price - It's quite expensive. 1. I should have applied my skincare products more generously before using this mask. It was my first time trying a gel mask, and my skin was so sensitive that I was worried about making it worse. I only applied one ampoule that my dermatologist recommended, which left my skin feeling dry. Make sure to do your full skincare routine before using this product! 2. When you first put it on, the mask keeps sliding down. I recommend lying down for about an hour until it starts to become slightly translucent. Once it reaches that stage, you can get up and go about your business more comfortably. 3. Be careful not to use too much force when applying, or you might tear the mask like I did. It's said to work as an overnight mask, but I'd be concerned about it falling off while sleeping. It seems ideal for when you're lying down, scrolling through your phone, or taking a short nap.
