I feel like it's brightening my skin, and I think it'll be great with long-term use It's a bit disappointing that it sells out so quickly. I really want to use it for a long time - wl*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 18, 2024
I love how it gives a natural brightening effect and doesn't rub off on clothes Those looking for a dramatic brightening effect might find it a bit underwhelming - wl*******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedFeb 24, 2024
I love that I can apply this before bed without any issues. It contains 5% niacinamide, so it doesn't irritate even when applied to areas with blemishes, and it seems to have a calming effect. With consistent use on darker areas, I've noticed it helps brighten discoloration. As for the scent, I find it quite pleasant. Although it's marketed as a brightening moisturizer, I don't feel it provides much immediate brightening effect. Maybe a slight improvement in complexion...? It doesn't seem suitable as a quick fix for evening skin tone before going out. I use it as part of my nighttime body care routine after showering, applying it to areas with discoloration like underarms, knees, and other darker spots before bed. - rl**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 11, 2024
I bought this after someone organized a group purchase, and I personally liked it. The biggest advantage is that you can fall asleep without washing it off - this is seriously a huge plus! The absorption is just like an emulsion, and it didn't feel dry. It's just like applying a decent emulsion. My sister tried mine and ended up getting one for herself too. It doesn't make you extremely pale, just evens skin tone as the name suggests. If you layer it on, it can look a bit cakey. The price is a bit much... I got it cheaper through a group buy, but it's not worth paying full price for. There's nothing better than this when you need to get ready quickly or want to look like you have bare skin. - oy*****Normal SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessRecommendedJan 13, 2024
I've been applying this after laser hair removal, and it doesn't seem to irritate my skin. Rather than focusing on the visible brightening effect, I'm using it primarily for its whitening function, usually applying it before bed. It has a nice, moisturizing texture that absorbs quickly without feeling sticky. And it gives a really natural, subtle brightening effect - not a full shade lighter, but just half a shade! First off, the fragrance is floral, but there's a slight rubber scent that might be quite divisive. The brightening effect is really just about half a shade... To be honest, it brightens when first applied, but after a while, it's not very noticeable, so the brightening effect seems minimal. While it applies smoothly on the body, I noticed some pilling on my face after a while. (Though most brightening moisturizers I've tried tend to do this, so it might be unavoidable) Due to the pilling, I'd recommend this more for body use rather than face! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 9, 2024
It doesn't exactly whiten, but it gives more of a radiant effect? Your complexion becomes naturally brighter. I bought it to apply on my neck, but it doesn't really lighten that much. It's good for applying on hands and arms though. - jy******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 4, 2023
I have atopic and dry skin. Irritation: I was initially worried because the ingredients aren't particularly great. Due to atopic dermatitis on my face, I opted for a brightening moisturizer instead of heavy makeup. When applied, I didn't feel any major irritation, though the central area where I had atopic dermatitis became slightly reddish. Fortunately, that was the extent of it, and it didn't trigger an atopic flare-up or cause any blemishes! For reference, my atopic skin isn't extremely sensitive among atopic skin types. Cleansing: I find that my atopic dermatitis worsens more from the irritation of removing makeup rather than the makeup ingredients themselves, so I prioritize easy removal over ingredients. This product can be worn to sleep, and it was easily cleansed with just foam cleanser! Application: Firstly, it applies very moisturizing! Many brightening moisturizers can be stiff or leave skin feeling dry after application, but this one feels hydrating when applied. It absorbs well, leaving skin feeling soft, but since I have dry skin, I make sure to do thorough skincare, so it was fine. Brightening effect: I haven't used it long enough to know if it helps with pigmentation. The immediate brightening effect after application is good. I've tried various brightening moisturizers since I was young due to my dark complexion. Among those I've used so far, this ranks in the upper-middle range. It naturally brightens the skin by about one shade! I think the brightening effect works better for me since I have darker skin! But it doesn't make my face look unnaturally pale, which I'm satisfied with! For those with fair skin, it might brighten by about half a shade! Longevity: If you're using the brightening moisturizer as a base before makeup, it's not an issue, but longevity is important if you're using it alone like me. After about two to three hours, it had mostly worn off around the eye area, which is frequently touched. Overall, it became a bit more natural-looking! So I'm considering putting it in an empty cushion compact for touch-ups. It would be great if it came in a cushion format! It's disappointing that the ingredients aren't great. The application and brightening effect are both good, and it's said to be okay to sleep with it on, but there are many unfavorable ingredients like silicones that are also found in foundations. As someone with sensitive skin, this is really disappointing. It's hard to recommend to those with sensitive skin. Additionally, when I reapplied it, it immediately pilled on my usually dry areas. For those with dry skin or prone to pilling, it's not possible to touch up areas where it has worn off when you're out. Please keep this in mind! I think it's really good to apply on the neck after doing makeup. It's moisturizing so it doesn't cling to the neck, and I use shade 21 because I want brighter makeup, but for those who say there's a big difference between their face and neck after makeup, I recommend using this on the neck! Or for people like me whose neck is naturally darker, I think you'll find it useful too! Overall, I recommend this for those who go bare-faced but are concerned about dull skin, or for those who don't wear makeup because removing foundation irritates their skin. It's natural-looking and easy to cleanse!
