I bought this during my trip to Japan at Matsumoto Kiyoshi. It's great for eliminating that greasy shine while doubling as a brightening powder. The pretty packaging makes it perfect for carrying around. While it does brighten and even out your complexion, the large cushion can sometimes encroach on areas where you've applied contour. I'd recommend using a brush alongside it for more precise application. - na*******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 21, 2025
My friend brought this back from Japan for me, and it applies so naturally and smoothly. It's especially great for covering dark circles, so I've made it a part of my daily routine. I dropped it just once, and it shattered. Be extra careful not to drop it! Also, the puff tends to attract dust quite easily. - ch*************Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 20, 2025
While browsing reviews, I noticed people with shade 21 skin tones raved about this product, so I decided to give it a try! Upon opening, I was initially surprised by how orange it looked - that was shock number one. The puff texture was shock number two, as it wasn't great. However, when I applied it to my face, it really excelled at controlling oil and filling in pores!! Isn't the packaging absolutely gorgeous? Canmake has truly outdone themselves this time. That being said, there's a slight tendency for it to look a bit cakey when used with powder. It's not one of those products where the powder applies in a thin layer. Nevertheless, it's the ultimate champion of that powdery-soft finish. For a game-changing experience, try swapping out the original puff with a microfiber puff from Daiso. - po*********Oily SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 8, 2024
I bought this in Japan. It has a refillable structure, so you can keep replacing the product. After applying base makeup, just press it once on each side of your nose in the butterfly zone, and it instantly fills in pores while providing long-lasting coverage and a matte finish. I haven't tried touch-ups, but I'm completely satisfied with using it right after makeup application. The quality is excellent, especially considering the price (about 1000 yen). Unfortunately, the only way to get it in our country is through international online shopping. - ye*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsOct 11, 2024
Back in high school, I always used Canmake's Marshmallow Finish Powder in summer to combat the greasiness from sunscreen. - It's excellent at controlling excess oil and shine. - In summer, it slightly brightens tanned skin. However, in spring, fall, and winter, it can occasionally make the complexion appear a bit yellowish. - It allows for a soft, fresh-looking makeup finish. I remember loving how it gave a perfectly matte finish when used as the last step in my makeup routine. It's disappointing that it's now harder to find due to its discontinuation. Apply it over greasy sunscreen for a matte finish. - gu*********Oily SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedOct 1, 2024
If you're looking for a tinted powder that covers pores to some extent, this seems to be top-notch in terms of value for money. It's a product I've purchased multiple times because it's so easy and pleasant to use on a daily basis. I wouldn't recommend this if you're just looking for a light powder to control oil. - ma******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedSep 12, 2024
Unbeatable powder for an ultra-matte finish. I've tried them all, but nothing compares to this. It's incredible at blurring pores - it's like it fills in every little hole on my face! If you're after that flawless, influencer-style complexion, this is your go-to product. The powder goes on so matte and white that it might make your makeup look a bit heavy. If you're aiming for a dewy, translucent look, you might want to try a different powder. I use this instead of a matte highlighter. It works wonders on the butterfly zone and cheek hollows, naturally brightening and blurring those areas. - to*********Normal SkinSebum/BlackheadsJun 30, 2024
Gives baby-soft skin Beautiful packaging Limited shade range Durable and doesn't break easily Slightly difficult to dispense Bought it due to many positive reviews, but it's not as great as expected... The cushion gets dirty too quickly - nn****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 28, 2024
I love how it instantly blurs my pores! It gives me that smooth, egg-shell finish even when my skin texture isn't at its best. The product dispenses quite generously, but if you apply too much, it can make your makeup look cakey. - qh******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 20, 2024
The light shade 21 gives a subtle brightening effect on the face. When applied lightly to dull areas on bare skin, it improves the complexion noticeably. While it doesn't cover pores as effectively as Korean powders, it does give the skin a nice, marshmallow-like finish. The downside is that you need to buy it through overseas shopping or when traveling to Japan. It's not as brightening as one might expect. There's a flimsy film under the puff that's supposed to be a cap, which is inconvenient. However, I still use it because I'd be concerned about hygiene without it.
