Even though I'm in my 20s, I was amazed at how much my skin texture improved the very next day after applying it... I usually don't notice immediate improvements from skincare products, but this was incredible! I've completely emptied one bottle. Well, it has a slight herbal medicine scent, which might be uncomfortable for those who don't like it. This is my first time trying a traditional herbal cream other than Sulwhasoo, and I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I like Chogongjin. The hydration is incredible, and although I was worried it might be too heavy for my age, it's actually perfect. Well... the container is unnecessarily heavy. I'd prefer if it came in a lighter, more convenient packaging at a lower price.

I coolly ditched the clear plastic spatula that comes with the cream. Why? Because eventually, you end up applying it with your fingers anyway. Usually, when it comes to herbal cosmetics, especially creams, there's this lingering stereotype that they're incredibly heavy and dripping with oils, meant for the middle-aged and up. But after actually using this, I regret not diving into herbal skincare sooner. I'm currently using the entire Chogongjin Sosaeng line, and although I haven't been using it for long, I'm really satisfied with how it tackled my deep dryness within just a few days. One interesting thing to note is the subtle cooling effect when applied. It's not an obvious 'Wow, that's cool!' sensation, but rather a gentle, gradual cooling that sneaks up on you. Secondly, it surprisingly feels like a rich hydrating cream? After applying the Chogongjin Sosaeng line in order and finishing with this cream, the texture seems to transform mysteriously... I'm not sure if it's due to the products applied before or if the cream itself changes texture when spread on the face, but rather than feeling like a heavy, oily cream as I expected, it feels more like a rich, bouncy hydrating cream with great absorption. There's not really anything to complain about. However, I wonder how it would be if it came in a squeeze tube instead of a jar. Maybe it would be more convenient and lighter? It would definitely be easier to travel with. Apply as the final step in the Chogongjin Sosaeng line routine. It feels moisturizing, making it perfect for fall and winter use. I bought it with Missha's first-time purchase discount. I used it without high expectations, but it seems pretty good. My skin tends to be dry, and with incompatible cosmetics, my skin texture immediately becomes rough and bumpy. However, this product maintains my skin texture without causing any blemishes. It's not a product with low oil content, so it's just right to apply after toner and emulsion these days. I can skip the essence step without feeling dry. I usually feel a lot of tightness when my skin is dry, but this product keeps it moisturized and comfortable. Also, when applied, it gives a slight firming sensation to the skin. The scent is a bit strong, so it might be a love-it-or-hate-it situation for some. Apart from the fragrance, I don't have any complaints. Despite having combination dehydrated skin, I need some oil in winter, so I was looking for a rich cream for the final step of my routine. I chose Missha's Cho Gong Jin line as it's their premium range. First off, it's a thick, concentrated cream that's effective for hydration. I was worried because my skin is sensitive to irritation, but it was well-received without any burning sensation or itching. The next morning during cleansing, I noticed my skin felt soft and supple. As a traditional herbal product, the scent is... overwhelming. After applying it, the smell was so strong it gave me a headache, and I had to wash it off on the first day. From the second day on, I managed to tolerate it and got used to it. While the product is good, the intense fragrance makes it intimidating to use. Also, the case lid is very inconvenient to open. The product isn't too thick and absorbs well, making it perfect for summer use Sometimes at night, I'm too lazy to apply toner and serum, so I just use this cream alone. However, when used by itself, the hydration it provides is a bit lacking

If I use the wrong skincare products, my skin gets bumpy and reacts badly. When I first saw this cream, it had a herbal scent and looked delightfully rich! Applying it feels smooth and easy, and you can really feel the hydration sinking in. It absorbs quickly, and thanks to its slightly oily texture, it keeps my skin from drying out too fast. I tried it with my mom, and she loved it even more! She said it gave her a lifting effect and her skin felt plump with moisture, making it look firmer. Everything else is great, but it leaves a bit of an oily residue that makes my skin slightly shiny. The little spatula they included for scooping out the product? It disappeared after just a week of use. Also, I'm not sure about its wrinkle-improving effects yet. I used this product with my mother who is in her 50s. (Normal skin type/Concern: wrinkles) Absorbs: It applied smoothly without any difficulty. Absorbs well: It feels slightly rich. Rather than providing deep hydration, it's a bit thick and takes some time to absorb. Wrinkle improvement: While I didn't notice much difference, my mother was extremely satisfied. She said her complexion definitely became more radiant. Scent: It has a typical traditional herbal medicine smell. While it might appeal to older generations, my mother wasn't a fan.
