♡ Absorbs The texture is really, really unique! It's an emulsion, but why does it finish so powdery soft? It's not just a fresh finish, it's truly velvety, like you've applied powder. So when you're applying it, it might feel a bit strange! ♡ Ingredients There are 3 yellow caution flags, and looking inside, there are quite a few yellow-marked ingredients. The Clinique line overall doesn't have the best ingredients, which is a bit disappointing. I have super sensitive skin, but I didn't have any major reactions. ♡ Effectiveness This is the most important part! They say it focuses on managing dead skin cells, but honestly, I'm not sure! It doesn't seem to provide any hydration, maybe because of the finish... It doesn't solve deep dryness at all. As for dead skin cells, my mother said she saw results, so I guess it has some effect. ♡ Price Clinique isn't exactly a budget-friendly line... So for this amount and this level of effectiveness, I'd rather buy something else... First of all, the amount is really small compared to the cost... And the container is all in English, making it hard to understand the instructions. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 5, 2020
The product stays true to its concept of managing dead skin cells and feels refreshing to use. The scent isn't bothersome, and I liked the clean design of the container. Its slim and long shape makes it convenient to pack as a full-size product for longer trips without taking up too much space. I bought the large size, but even following the instructions to use three pumps per application, I found the amount a bit disappointing. It's worth noting that while it's a serum, you shouldn't expect much in terms of hydration... After using the serum, if you finish your skincare routine properly, you'll see visible improvements in your skin! I recommend this for managing dead skin cells on combination dehydrated skin and combination skin types. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 31, 2017
Just received my package today, so I'm writing a quick review. This is my first time trying Clinique's skincare products, though I've used their mascara and cleansers before. I've never experienced a serum like this - it's amazing! While other serums I've tried were moisturizing, this one leaves my skin feeling velvety smooth. It's truly fascinating! I'll update on its effectiveness after I've used it for a while longer. I was so excited when I got the package, but when I opened it... I couldn't tell what was the sample and what was the full-size product! It's incredibly expensive, but I'm still hopeful since everyone raves about it. - wi********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 8, 2017
I tried the renewed version for the first time. The texture, color, scent, and how it absorbs are almost identical to the previous Turn-Around Revitalizing Serum. I've been using the Revitalizing Serum with good results, so I'm curious about how this renewed version will perform. Looking closely, it seems the order of ingredients has changed slightly. This is just my opinion, but... the packaging looks a bit less attractive now. The cap has become extremely tight, and I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not. The size seems to have decreased slightly, which makes it more portable. At night, after cleansing, I wipe with toner, apply a light serum or Clinique Anti-Blemish emulsion, and then layer this on.
