As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I've been struggling lately due to parenting duties. I often miss applying my emulsion on time, feel exhausted, and don't sleep well. As a result, my pores have enlarged, and my eyes just looked tired. When I received this product as a gift, I decided to apply it not just around my eyes but thinly all over my face. I'm quite satisfied with the results. While I don't usually notice significant changes with skincare products, I could tell the difference the next morning after applying it the night before. My skin definitely felt less dry and flaky! That's why I've even added it to my favorites list. Clinique has many great products if they suit you, but their biggest drawback is the price.

First off, it doesn't give that oppressive oily feeling, so you can apply a lot and still feel refreshed mentally (haha!). I use it as my personal prescription when I want to sleep with a hydration bomb on my face without worrying. From texture to finish, it's super moisturizing without a trace of oiliness. Those who dislike even the slightest hint of oil will love this. However, if you don't have extremely oily skin, you'll need to use other hydrating or soothing products in addition to this. As always, my review is specifically for extremely oily skin types. It's quite different from reviews for combination, dry, combination dehydrated, or oily skin spectrums. (What can I do... the pros and cons of extremely oily skin... it is what it is. The key is finding the right way to care for each skin type!) In my case, I mainly use it before bed, pumping it 3 times each use. As you can see in the photo, it runs out quickly... haha Consider the price, and if you think 'I must try this!', give it a go. If you find it too strong or not worth the investment, feel free to skip it. I go through it really quickly... I've probably used 4 bottles in the past half year. Everyone's different, so if you only use a pea-sized amount, it'll last much longer! Here's a bedtime tip! When your skin is acting up or extremely dry (like after an intense exfoliation, or after thoroughly removing all oil and deep cleansing your pores), after using toner, pump once each on your forehead, nose, and chin, pat it in, and go straight to deep sleep. The hydration is incredible. I used it before bed in summer and both morning and evening in winter. The little beads inside burst nicely, helping to even out the skin. It doesn't irritate my skin at all. Above all, I love that it's fragrance-free. Skin type: (Combination - varies from slightly dry to combination dehydrated depending on the season / Large pores with blackheads on forehead, chin, and nose / Seborrheic dermatitis on chin, forehead, and sides of nose / Blemishes on cheeks / Avoid using pore-clogging ingredients and oils due to millet-like acne / Try to limit skincare routine to about 2 products / Prone to skin heat, so frequently use saline or toner packs in summer / Use sheet masks 1-2 times a week) I used this as a serum substitute. The beads dissolve well and it absorbs nicely. It feels hydrating upon application, but the effect doesn't seem to last very long. It's a bit sticky after applying and doesn't absorb quickly. The packaging is pretty and convenient. It's great for using up to the last drop. The hydration doesn't last long, and it remains sticky after application. The price isn't particularly cheap either, so I probably won't repurchase. This product might be suitable if you're looking for something that's moderate in both oil and moisture content.

The lightweight formula absorbs quickly. I love how hygienic the packaging is. It's not very moisturizing. The price is high for the amount you get. After applying, it became irritating and itchy over time.

The beads in the product burst easily, which is great! Some products with beads require a lot of rubbing to dissolve them, which can be irritating, but these break down effortlessly. I applied it mainly around my eyes and nasolabial folds, and even though it's primarily a hydrating product, I loved how it felt firm and elastic on the skin. The slightly sticky texture is a bit disappointing. When used in the middle of my skincare routine, it makes applying subsequent products feel uncomfortably tacky.

I love how moisturizing it is and that a little goes a long way. It's great that it's not oily at all. There wasn't anything I disliked about it. In fact, I appreciated that it didn't feel heavy on my skin.
