I switched to this after Clio's Mad Matte Lip was discontinued, and I'm so pleased! It glides on smoothly and has a lovely scent. The dried rose color is perfect for those with deep undertones. It comes off easily. This is my absolute favorite lipstick and I'm so satisfied with it! As someone with a warm skin tone, it's a perfect match for me. I definitely want to buy it again. Even though it's a matte lipstick, it's so smooth that it doesn't accentuate dead skin cells, which is fantastic! The staying power seems to be a bit disappointing. The color is almost identical to what's described in the product description. I found this lipstick after I finished using Espoir Pure Velvet in Hazel, which wasn't available at Olive Young anymore. The color is truly beautiful, like a fading rose...? It's a darker red rather than orange. I'd recommend it for those with deep undertones or cool winter leaning towards autumn who prefer darker reds. It tends to emphasize dead skin cells a bit when applied, so you need to exfoliate before use. My natural lip color is quite dark, so I'm not sure about the longevity, but I reapply a little bit in the center whenever I look in the mirror. Be careful when carrying it around, as the case can come off (I've attached a photo). I really liked how well it complemented my deep undertone complexion, and the color was beautiful. It was disappointing that it faded too easily. It absorbs smoothly into the skin. The color is versatile and has a subtle, calming tone. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. While it doesn't give a glossy finish, it doesn't leave the skin feeling dry either.

I bought this because both the color and packaging are absolutely gorgeous! The shade is calm and perfect for daily wear!! While it seems to suit all skin tones, warm or cool, I think it would look especially stunning on muted complexions. Since it's a matte lipstick, it can be a bit dry and stiff, which tends to accentuate fine lines..! Here's a pro tip: Apply a generous layer of lip balm, wait a few minutes, then gently blot it off with a tissue. When you apply this lipstick over that base, it goes on smoothly without emphasizing any lines.
