The powder-like velvet texture applies thinly and feels moisturizing, so it doesn't cause much dryness. The hydrating velvet formula allows for easy smudging and smooth application. There's some transfer right after application, but once it sets, it has decent longevity with minimal transfer. It leaves a subtle chocolate scent. The packaging is a major drawback. The opening where the applicator comes out is far too narrow, causing the entrance to get messy every time you take out or put in the applicator. It's so narrow that it's impossible to keep it clean, no matter how hard you try. As someone who can't stand a dirty opening, I really dislike the packaging. Also, the rounded cap makes it difficult to stand the product upright when inverted, as it tends to tilt.
