I bought this as a deep undertone base lip color and I'm absolutely thrilled with it. As someone who prefers matte lips over glossy ones even in dry winters, I love the texture. While it might not be suitable for those with extremely chapped lips, it doesn't feel overly drying and doesn't accentuate dead skin cells. It's great for creating various color combinations. I highly recommend it - it works hard for your lips! There's really nothing bad to say. If I had to nitpick, I'd say it doesn't stain the lips, but that's about it. - st*************Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 4, 2024
I bought this for the color! As soon as I tried it at Olive Young, I knew I had to have it. It creates a beautiful blurred effect!! However, I'd actually recommend using it as a blush rather than a lip product. The case is so fragile that it broke without me doing anything to it. While the formula spreads well for a blurry effect, it severely emphasizes dead skin cells on the lips. I regularly use lip balm and exfoliate, but this product uniquely dries out my lips and makes flakiness more noticeable. Due to its powdery and soft texture, don't expect it to last long. If you're applying it to your lips, blend it well with your fingers. Fingers create a prettier blurring effect than brushes (even silicone ones aren't great). But for the best look, spread it widely on the back of your hand and apply to your cheeks with a puff. I recommend buying this mainly for use as a blush and for the outer edges of your lips. When I bought it, there were many new products, but I chose this for the color. Even now, while the shade might seem common, it's actually hard to find. I absolutely recommend it for those with a deep undertone. - li******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessOct 25, 2024
The color is beautiful! It's great as a base for those who suit coral shades well. The powdery texture makes it easy to apply prettily, creating a blurred effect at the lip borders. 1. The formula tends to settle into lip lines quite badly. I have to apply it like a lip liner, dabbing just the outer parts of the lips and blending with my fingers, which is messy and annoying. If you apply it as a full lip color, it goes on thick and settles into all the creases. It feels like the formula contains a lot of powder particles. 2. I'm not a fan of how the cap and body connect. Product inevitably gets around the opening, and there's a gap between the cap parts as shown in the photo, which seems unhygienic and I worry about leakage. So I end up applying with the residue around the opening instead of the applicator. It's usable this way, but since it was a gift, I'm just using it up. Definitely won't repurchase.
