I've been using this consistently for about three weeks. The way it absorbs is quite nice. I have normal skin, so I'm not sure about how well it absorbs. I stopped using it for two reasons: 1. I couldn't notice any effects 2. It was too sticky - al*****Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 14, 2025
- I noticed an overall improvement in my skin condition. Rather than seeing specific areas get better, it felt like my skin as a whole was improving. I liked this aspect so much that even though I didn't see the brightening effects I expected, I repurchased and am still using it. - Despite having a watery consistency with no stickiness, it provides great hydration. For those with oily skin, you could probably finish your routine with just this, without adding a cream on top. In fact, using an oil-based cream afterwards might feel a bit too heavy. - I noticed many reviews mentioning the scent, but that wasn't something I even thought about. If you're not sensitive to fragrances, it probably won't be an issue for you. - It stings quite a bit when you first apply it. As you continue using it, your skin seems to adapt and the tingling sensation goes away. However, while there was some discomfort, I didn't experience any blemishes or redness. - I didn't notice any brightening effects at all. To be honest, brightening and improving dark spots were what I was most looking forward to when I bought this product, so I was a bit disappointed in that regard. - Since it's a Vitamin C serum, it needs to be refrigerated. I didn't store it in the fridge at first, and it oxidized, so I had to throw away what was left. I always make sure to apply skincare products with clean hands, so having to open the refrigerator to get it out after showering was a bit inconvenient. - 10*******Oily SkinAcne SkinJul 13, 2025
It has a sticky feel and leaves yellow marks on the pillow. I wouldn't recommend it for blemish-prone skin. I have skin that occasionally breaks out, so I tried this product because it claimed to help with brightening and blemishes. However, from the moment I applied it, a few blemishes started appearing. After about a week, it got even worse, so I stopped using it. I repeated this process twice, but it just doesn't work for me. It took far too long for my skin to recover, and I eventually had to visit a dermatologist for prescription medication and injections. Only now does my skin finally seem to be calming down. If you have sensitive or acne-prone skin, it's always best to patch test new products and introduce them gradually into your skincare routine. Consider consulting with a dermatologist before trying new products if you have persistent skin concerns. - hi******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 13, 2025
It's fantastic! The way it absorbs into my skin is absolutely wonderful. I'm so grateful for this product! None whatsoever. There's absolutely nothing negative to say about it. - hu********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 13, 2025
Highly recommended for those with dry skin rather than oily skin! It's slightly oily and sticky. The absorbs well, but it takes a while to fully absorb into the skin. One downside is that it might cause a tingling sensation for those with super sensitive skin. Apply it in the evening, especially before bedtime! - ki******Dry SkinJul 13, 2025
You can really feel the high vitamin concentration with a slight tingling sensation It's too oily and doesn't absorb well, so I'm not reaching for it often For me, the 13 version works better as a daily item than this one - fo*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 13, 2025
I only added one vitamin C serum to my skincare routine, but my skin feels softer, more supple, and stronger as a result. It's not really a downside, but be careful not to get it in your eyes because the formula is quite thin. It stings if you do! When using a vitamin C serum, it's important to apply it carefully to avoid eye irritation. The lightweight texture can easily run, so take extra precautions during application. Despite this minor inconvenience, the benefits for skin texture and firmness make it a worthwhile addition to your skincare regimen. - dk********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 12, 2025
It's effective at improving acne scars, and after using it, I feel like my complexion looks brighter. The scent is really strong, like vitamins, and I can't get used to it. After application, it leaves a sticky feeling on the skin. - lu******Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 11, 2025
It has a slightly rich feel, but it absorbs beautifully. If you use it daily, you'll go through it in no time - I finished mine in about two weeks! Due to its ingredients, it can leave yellow stains on your clothes, especially in the front. Best to avoid wearing light-colored outfits when applying. When using this product, it's advisable to apply it well before dressing to allow for complete absorption and prevent any potential staining. Despite the minor inconvenience with clothing, many users find the benefits to their complexion outweigh this drawback. Remember to patch test if you have super sensitive skin to ensure no allergic reaction occurs. - ig********Dry SkinRecommendedJul 11, 2025
I really liked the runny texture that absorbs quickly and lightly. With continued use, I feel like my complexion has brightened up. I'm also applying it to my underarms, hoping it'll have some effect there too. It was a bit disappointing to see that some of the product had leaked, staining the box a brownish color. The product seems to work hard on improving overall skin tone. Its lightweight formula absorbs well, which is great for those who don't like sticky or rich textures. The brightening effect on the complexion is a definite plus. However, the packaging issue with leakage is something the brand might want to address for a better user experience.
