As I approach my 40s, I've become increasingly concerned about my pores. So, I was thrilled to try the Pore Toning Acu Essence, which not only addresses pore issues but also improves complexion. I have high hopes for this product! First off, I love the packaging. The pump dispenser is hygienic and dispenses just the right amount, making it easy to control how much you use. The formula is a white, opaque liquid with a slightly thick consistency that doesn't run. There's no noticeable scent, so it's suitable for those sensitive to fragrances. Regarding sensitivity, I was surprised by the tingling sensation when I first applied it. It was more intense than I expected, so I'll use less next time. However, it wasn't unbearable - more like a "feel it working" kind of tingle that makes you think your skin is improving. The essence applies smoothly and absorbs quickly without any sticky residue. Once absorbed, the tingling sensation disappears completely. Interestingly, when I applied my moisturizer over it, I felt a slight tingling again. But this subsided quickly, and I didn't experience any discomfort during my daily activities. After about a day, I noticed some peeling around my nose and cheeks during cleansing, similar to dead skin cells sloughing off. Afterward, my skin felt noticeably softer. With consistent use, I believe this product will significantly improve pores and overall skin texture. As per the instructions, using it every 2-3 days seems to be the most effective approach. I'm really excited about the potential results from this product! While the initial tingling was stronger than expected, I don't consider it a drawback as I believe it's a sign of the product's effectiveness. You can achieve smooth, refined skin without using a scrub. This product gently exfoliates dead skin cells and improves skin texture. It also enhances the effectiveness of serums or creams applied afterward. It can cause a slight tingling sensation. Not recommended for those with super sensitive skin. My skin has a burning sensation, stinging, and numbness all day long. Even though I've stopped using it, I still feel like it's lingering on my skin. After about two days, it even starts to itch.

I had been using a toner I won from Hwahae, which I liked for its gentleness, and it seems Damton products are generally like that too. Despite being gentle, it was quite effective. I could really feel my skin becoming softer and more supple. It might be a bit disappointing that I can't use it daily. But that's how the product is designed, so it can't be helped. I've been using this for about a month and a half. It absorbs well and feels refreshing. I was worried about irritation due to the spicules, but it's surprisingly gentle considering the slight tingling sensation. I have super sensitive skin that's thin and gets red even just from cleansing. While there are no blemishes and nothing major to complain about, I wish it was a bit more hydrating. I tend to have severe deep dryness. For best results, pat the product in firmly to help the spicules penetrate, then layer a richer cream on top to lock in moisture. The next day, you'll notice a significant glow and your makeup will apply much more smoothly. It seems to enhance the effectiveness of other products too.

I've always used Laneige, but after trying my friend's Damtone Specule Essence just once, I immediately bought it! It's not too harsh, making it great for daily use. What's more, my skin has improved so much... When I apply it and follow with a mask, my skin looks absolutely amazing the next morning. No irritation or blemishes. It's fascinating that it has a ginseng scent, but it's not bothersome at all! It's great. After removing the mask, make sure to apply a regenerating cream generously.

This sensation continues even when applying cream. However, after using it for a day or two, I'm delighted to wake up to incredibly smooth skin texture. I plan to keep using it consistently! The only downside was the slight tingling sensation, but that's unavoidable with this type of product.
