Compared to traditional curl creams, this one has much better hold. It also applies more smoothly than wax. It has a strong, sticky texture... I thought it would harden like wax, but fortunately, it doesn't. When I rub it between my hands before applying, it feels like it dries quickly on my fingers... Among hair products, this one has excellent staying power, so I've been using it consistently. Unfortunately, since it directly touches the forehead area, it can sometimes cause skin blemishes, which is a bit disappointing. I tried the Volume Up Curl Cream and found it suitable for daily use, but I wanted something with stronger hold and setting power, so I bought this. I'm satisfied because it definitely holds the shape better than the Volume Up Curl Cream. If you apply too much, it can look cakey, and if it touches your face, it feels uncomfortable and can cause blemishes to appear. What I love most is how incredibly well it absorbs without any waxy or stiff feeling. Its cleansing effectiveness is also excellent, making it a great product for daily use! I can't really think of any downsides. If I had to nitpick, I'd say that if you fail to control the amount, your hair might quickly become greasy and shiny. My brother actually uses this product more than I do, so I'm leaving this review based on his experience. The fragrance and application are great, and it has good hold. It's likely to be perfect for those who prefer a matte hair look. I bought this because I heard it had better hold than the wet curl cream, but that wasn't the case! It's even difficult to style individual strands of hair. This is my first time trying a curl cream, and I'm pleasantly surprised by how well it works and its great value for money. It doesn't provide as strong of a hold as wax or hairspray. I use about a dime-sized amount, spread it thinly between my hands, and then style my hair.
