The absorbs well is quite hydrating, so it's not difficult to apply. It spreads easily over a large area, which I love! As someone with combination dehydrated skin prone to deep dryness, it worked well for me in winter when applied before makeup. However, while it's hydrating, those with very oily skin might find it makes them shiny later, so it's best to control the amount. If you don't let it absorb well, your makeup might pill or you might produce more oil. Now that the weather is getting warmer, it can feel a bit heavy, so you need to be careful with the amount. Otherwise, it might feel heavy and uncomfortable! If your skin is very dry or occasionally in poor condition, you might still feel dry after application. For those with dry skin, it's better to mix it with other moisturizing products or apply an additional layer. If you control the amount well, it will leave your skin with a hydrated finish! - gk********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsMay 9, 2024
The pump bottle for the emulsion is convenient. That's the only positive thing I can say about it. It has an unpleasant, old-fashioned cosmetic scent that you'd expect from outdated products. The silicone-like slipperiness and stickiness create a film on the skin, while the hydration evaporates as quickly as a gel would. It's more similar to a gel than an emulsion. The cap is so tiny that I'm worried I'll lose it. - te*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 11, 2023
It seems like the packaging has been revamped. While the name and ingredients are the same as the product I bought, the container looks different. The new design is much sleeker. With its lightweight texture, it's perfect for summer use. True to its name, the aloe vera ingredient quickly provides a soothing effect and a boost of hydration. You know how every household keeps an aloe gel as a summer staple? Unlike pure gel that lacks oil and lets moisture evaporate quickly, this Aloe Vera Oasis Emulsion has a great oil and moisture balance, keeping your skin hydrated for longer. Perhaps due to its high aloe vera content, it has a fresh, green scent that leaves you feeling refreshed after application. Personally, I tend to get prolonged redness on my cheeks after cardio, but this product quickly calms that heat sensation, making my skin feel noticeably more comfortable. The moisturizing effect is somewhat mild, so it's better to layer it with a cream in fall and winter.
