I received the jojoba oil as a gratis gift. Although I didn't have high expectations since it was free, I'm increasingly satisfied the more I use it. It doesn't leave a greasy feeling and it's a true lip balm that lives up to its name. My lips aren't particularly prone to cracking or peeling, but they are on the dry side. While I'm not sure if this makes them more moisturized per se, I think it can help prevent lip cracking. I like that it's not sticky at all. It's perfect for someone like me who doesn't wear makeup. Due to the tea tree oil, there's a slight warming sensation and the scent is distinctly tea tree. Of course, those with tea tree allergies wouldn't be using this anyway, right? There's nothing I'm particularly disappointed about. It works well for me. Those who dislike tea tree scent or are sensitive to fragrances should be aware that the tea tree scent is quite strong. I used this well during the dry winter. I'd recommend it to those whose lips tend to crack and peel. - ib*******Combination SkinRecommendedDec 19, 2019
My honest review after purchasing with my own money! I got it on sale for about $4. When applied, it has a slight warming sensation similar to tea tree (it even has a tea tree scent!). You can feel the immediate hydration, and if you apply it frequently, it keeps your lips moisturized and less prone to cracking. Unfortunately, the lasting power is a bit short. It dries out again pretty quickly... You need to reapply several times, and while the surface of your lips feels moisturized at first, a feeling of dryness creeps up from within. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJul 13, 2019
I received this jojoba oil as a gratis item. Since I didn't pay for it, I used it without expectations, but it turned out to be better than I thought. I applied it to my flaky lips before taking a short nap, and when I woke up, my lips were incredibly soft. The moisturizing power and lasting effect seem decent. The lip balm I used before this one made my lips a bit itchy after application, but this one doesn't have that issue, so I'm satisfied. I'll need to use it more to know for sure, but for a lip balm, it's quite hard and applies a bit stiffly. It makes me wonder if it's even applied properly. It feels like I'm rubbing plastic on my lips. Overall, it doesn't absorb well. The scent isn't particularly pleasant either. I'm not usually sensitive to smells, but this one is a bit off-putting. Also, this isn't really a flaw but more of a product characteristic - there's a burning sensation when applying, possibly due to the tea tree oil. I wasn't sure where to mention this since it's not exactly a drawback, but as someone with super sensitive skin, I'm cautious about it and don't particularly enjoy this feeling. While there are no major flaws and I haven't experienced any blemishes yet, I'll probably be careful with it. Once I finish this, I likely won't repurchase it due to my sensitive skin. However, I would recommend it for those without sensitive skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 20, 2019
The jojoba oil came as a gratis gift with my purchase. I'm someone who uses lip balm year-round. I had just bought a new lip balm that I wasn't too fond of and was planning to use it up quickly to get back to my usual one. So, I was thrilled to receive this free lip balm with my purchase of a good product! I tried it right away, and it feels very soothing! The scent is probably tea tree oil, but oddly enough, it also has a hint of... foot odor? I can't quite get used to the smell every time I apply it! As for hydration, my previous lip balm would leave my lips moisturized overnight, making it easy to exfoliate in the morning. With this one, there's hardly any dead skin cells in the morning! It doesn't seem to help with exfoliation. Based on my current experience, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to buy this. After using it for about a week and a half, I definitely like it more than at first. My lips have fewer dead skin cells, and they stay moisturized all day without needing to exfoliate! The scent is somewhat reminiscent of foot odor, with a slightly musty smell mixed in. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinDec 1, 2015
Even in summer when my lips get dry, this made them soft and supple in just two days. It seems to heal lip wounds quickly. The scent is like tea tree, which might be hit or miss for some. Also, it might feel a bit heavy when you first apply it. It seems to last a long time if you apply a quick swipe or two after washing your face.
