Even though I know it's not great for my skin, I tend to massage my face for a long time due to that icky feeling and to roll off sebum. Before, I used cleansing oils, and no matter how gentle the ingredients were, my skin would often get irritated. But this cleansing milk is truly gentle! My skin doesn't feel any tingling at all! I was hoping it would remove sebum too, but I guess that's asking too much since it's not an oil, right? - wh****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 14, 2025
The texture is completely water-like, making it perfect for massaging into the skin. If it doesn't emulsify properly, it can slightly blur your vision, which is a bit disappointing. - pt******Dry SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 14, 2025
It's great for a light cleanse. If you have a lot of blackheads, go for an oil cleanser. This milky cleanser seems best suited for those with dry skin, small pores, and who don't wear heavy makeup. The overall experience is nice, but its cleansing effectiveness isn't as strong as an oil cleanser. It's decent for removing light makeup. - ky******Combination SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJul 14, 2025
Compared to typical cleansing oils, this one feels gentler and less irritating on the skin. It cleanses softly during double cleansing, leaving a hydrated feeling. I found it worked particularly well when paired with an amino cleanser. Compared to regular oils, it didn't emulsify as well. The cleansing effectiveness of this product stands out, offering a more delicate approach to removing makeup and impurities. Its gentle nature makes it suitable for those with sensitive skin or those looking to minimize irritation in their skincare routine. The hydrating effect is a bonus, helping to maintain the skin's moisture balance even after cleansing. The synergy with an amino cleanser suggests it could be an excellent first step in a thoughtfully layered skincare regimen. However, the reduced emulsification might mean you need to be more thorough in rinsing to ensure all product is removed. - sh**********Combination SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessJul 13, 2025
It was easy to use and worked well for me. I have combination skin that leans towards dry, and I found it quite nice. It was just okay, nothing special. I'm not sure about its cleansing effectiveness... It's simply mediocre. The reviewer has combination skin that tends to be dry. They found the product satisfactory in the first review, but in the second review, they were less impressed, particularly noting uncertainty about its cleansing power. - si*********Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 12, 2025
It's incredibly hydrating! I used to experience deep dryness after washing my face, but with this cleansing milk, there's no tightness even while I wash my face, shampoo, shower, and brush my teeth. That's what I love most about it. It's powerful enough to remove all makeup except waterproof, yet it doesn't irritate my skin at all. Not recommended for those who prefer that "squeaky clean" feeling after washing! Since it's so moisturizing, your face won't feel squeaky clean when you rinse, but rather smooth and silky. If you're not comfortable with this sensation, you might want to skip this product. Wash your hands and ensure both your hands and face are dry. Pump the cleansing milk once, rub it between your hands a few times, then apply and massage it onto your face. Afterward, it's crucial to add water and emulsify the product - this helps remove sebum effectively! - sa*********Combination SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesRecommendedJul 12, 2025
As someone with extremely sensitive combination skin that reacts badly to oils and wipes, I was thrilled to discover this cleansing milk! It's absolutely fantastic! After using it, my face doesn't feel tight or pinched at all. I even use it to remove makeup! This product worked so well for me that I honestly can't think of any downsides! Try gently massaging it in circular motions on both cheeks - it leaves your skin feeling soft and wonderful! - ru********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 11, 2025
This is my first time trying a cleansing milk. I have acne-prone and extremely dry skin, so I heard that cleansing milk would be good for this skin type. That's why I decided to try the Dewytree one. First off, the texture feels more hydrating compared to other cleansers. While I haven't seen any effects on my blemishes yet, I feel like my skin texture has improved a bit. It's moisturizing and non-irritating, so I plan to keep using this product. Since my skin type is extremely dry, sometimes it feels a bit parched after washing my face. On days when I wear makeup, I use the cleansing milk as my first step, followed by a cleansing foam as the second step. Even with this routine, my skin still feels hydrated. - je*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 10, 2025
This product has become a staple in my routine - I've gone through over 10 bottles! I only use an eye makeup remover for my eyes, and this product takes care of the rest of my makeup. It's effective enough to remove most makeup on its own. On days when I've applied a full face of makeup or when I'm concerned about excess oil, I follow up with a foam cleanser. The best part? My skin doesn't feel dry after cleansing. It's also gentle, making it perfect for those with a compromised skin barrier. If that's you, this is a must-try! This product isn't effective for tackling blackheads or excess oil on the nose. However, this gentleness is what makes it so kind to your skin. To ensure effective makeup removal, make sure to emulsify the product thoroughly. - ph*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 9, 2025
I've been using this for six months now It's great because it doesn't irritate my skin, unlike oils which immediately cause small bumps I can't really think of any downsides You need to follow up with a foam cleanser for double cleansing
