I apply this when I want a glossy or hydrated look, usually layering it over other lip products! It pairs beautifully with any lip color, be it reds, oranges, or any other shade!! It's perfect for achieving that glossy makeup look! If it weren't for the hefty price tag, I'd be completely satisfied with this product! I've found it looks more beautiful when layered over other lip products rather than worn alone! I bought this on a whim while in Italy, and I'm so glad I did! The color isn't too bold, but it's beautifully glossy with pretty shimmer. It's perfect when you want to layer it over a lip base for a glossy finish. The Dior signature golden shimmer is unique and luxurious. It's just gorgeous! The stickiness is a bit disappointing, and the shimmer tends to spread everywhere, which is a major drawback. The color payoff is absolutely amazing! If you're not someone who applies it heavily like me, just two or three touches will give you a beautiful shade. I've had to toss so many products from other brands that didn't work for me, but I'm already on my third repurchase of this one! There's not really anything to complain about, but if I had to nitpick, it does feel a bit sticky after application. I'm not particularly sensitive, so I use it without issues, but some of my friends aren't fans of its distinctive scent!

The shimmer is subtle, so it's not overwhelming at all and barely noticeable. The staying power is decent, and since you don't need to apply a lot at once, it feels like you get a generous amount of product. If you dislike sticky textures, I wouldn't recommend this product. Being a gloss, it's unavoidable that your hair might stick to it for a little while after application. Don't try to apply too much at once. Also, it's better not to use your fingers when applying, as the shimmer tends to stick to them.

First off, the Dior Addict Ultra-Gloss line has truly artistic pearls. Every time I use it, I'm in awe of how beautiful it is. Despite its wicked price, it's a bewitching product that makes me repurchase. When I wear it out, everyone asks what I'm wearing... It doesn't dry out quickly and makes your lips look plump. Personally, I find it looks delicate and pretty when applied to bare lips. Or you can lightly apply a tint and layer this on top for a beautiful look. And did I mention it's gorgeous? Because it really is. The price, well... When I first bought this, it was in the $30 range, but now it's in the $40 range. Sigh. Still, it lasts a really long time! However, don't use it past its expiration date for the sake of your lip health. Also, if you apply too much, it feels heavy and can be a bit suffocating. I recommend applying just a little - it's enough to keep your lips moisturized and long-lasting. While it's not registered on Hwahae, shade 643 (pink pearl) is pretty, but I highly recommend 732 (opal pearl)... It's seriously stunning. I've been using it for years.
