As someone with dry skin prone to flakiness, I find this product hydrating and it gives my complexion a radiant boost when applied. There's a bit of pilling when you apply it, so it's best to gently pat it in with a sponge for better results. I've found that with glow-enhancing products, it's beneficial to keep patting them into the skin.

There's definitely a noticeable difference between using this base and not using it. It extends the wear time of my foundation, reduces flaking, and helps the foundation adhere to my skin perfectly. It's not sticky at all, and I'm really pleased with it! I think I may have purchased the wrong product. I should have bought the Velvet Veil instead. On days when I have a lot of redness, my face looks flushed, so I always use this with a yellow-based product.

One squeeze is enough to cover both cheeks. It offers slight blemish coverage and evens out skin texture, which is why I bought it right after trying the sample. For me, it's so good that I don't need to touch up my makeup all day! The price is the only downside! It's so lovely, but the cost is just wicked... I've been looking for similar products from other brands, but nothing quite compares. If you apply it right after sunscreen while your skin is still moist, it might pill slightly. I recommend waiting a moment before application. It has a cooling effect and definitely makes makeup adhere better! There's a reason for its higher price tag, that's for sure! The price is a bit steep... It helps reduce the uneven tone that develops after wearing foundation for a while. There's a noticeable difference in my makeup on days I use this versus days I don't. I love how it gives a subtle Inner Glow while also providing some coverage for skin texture issues. I wish it had a bit more pore-covering power, similar to a velvet primer. For best results, apply this base the same way you'd spread foundation with a spatula. It works so much better!
