The adherence and absorption are truly excellent. I love how it provides natural-looking coverage. After wearing it for a while, I occasionally experienced some skin itchiness. I have sensitive skin and tend to worry a lot, so I'm prone to stress-related allergic reactions, which might have made me more aware of it. Skin type: Combination dehydrated skin I was looking for a cushion foundation to use in summer and fell in love with the packaging. The semi-matte finish appealed to me, so I bought it. As someone who used to need touch-ups constantly, I found I hardly needed to reapply with this. Even in the height of summer, I only needed to touch up once or twice. It works well from spring through fall. Personally, I found the application and adherence better than the Hera Black Cushion. I've accidentally touched my face or rubbed my cheeks without thinking, and was surprised to see in the mirror that it barely left any marks. It also transfers much less onto my hands. It's challenging to find a cushion with truly skin-friendly ingredients among department store brands. When my skin condition wasn't great or during seasonal changes, I occasionally experienced some small blemishes. For those with super sensitive skin, I recommend testing it first before purchasing. The coverage is moderate. The adherence is really high! However, if your skin is dry, some dead skin cells might show, so make sure to have a solid skincare routine for a healthy-looking complexion. It gives a semi-glow finish with a subtle, natural luminosity. The longevity is a bit lacking, so I use it with a fixer. With that, it seems to stay put without breaking down for about 12 hours. The coverage is lower than I expected... I had high hopes for this. And the shade is brighter than I thought it would be. If you want to increase the longevity, use it with a fixer. I tried a sample of this lipstick and loved it so much I bought the full-size product. The reason? Its amazing adherence to the lips. Going from the tiny sample to the full-sized product was so satisfying! The staying power is truly outstanding. It applies with a slightly powdery finish and doesn't break down over time. I absolutely adore this aspect of the lipstick. The coverage is a bit on the lighter side. It doesn't give that flawless, airbrushed look. Natural coverage that's just right I'm on my 5th one as a touch-up compact because it applies so naturally without being too thick. The shade matches me perfectly too. And I love the new case design - it's really pretty! I wish there was just a bit more product in it. I'd use it more liberally if there was! To be honest, I can't really think of any major downsides. (Combination dehydrated skin. Oily T-zone. Normal to dry U-zone. Shade 23-24) I actually purchased shade 21 Linen. I tested it side by side with shade 20, and there wasn't a huge difference when applied to the face. Shade 20 is similar to Double Wear Cushion in Sand, but slightly lighter. The finish is really nice. It feels powdery soft. Even on my normal to dry cheeks, it doesn't feel too matte or look cakey. It held up well for about 5 hours without touch-ups. On my nose, which gets very oily very quickly, it simply wore off cleanly. It seemed fine when I tested it on my cheeks and chin at the department store. However, after opening and using it, I experienced various blemishes. First, it's itchy. Looking at the itchy areas in the mirror, I noticed redness and small bumps. Inflammatory blemishes appeared. I suspect it's due to the three potentially allergy-inducing ingredients listed. Make sure to test thoroughly at the department store and wait at least an hour before cleansing it off. As a cushion foundation nomad, I've fallen in love with this one and I'm on my 4th compact now. I have shade 23 skin and I don't like applying foundation that's too white. This one gives a perfect soft-focus effect while evening out my complexion. It's not sticky at all, making it ideal for summer use. Those who prefer high coverage might not be fans of this product. It provides a very natural-looking coverage.

I've tried other luxury cushions from brands like Sisl* and Giorgi* Armani, which I bought for their pretty cases, and I really liked them. So I had high hopes for this one and used it a few times, but something didn't agree with my skin. I developed blemishes, and it didn't absorb well into my skin. It's moisturizing without being greasy, which is great. It controls oil well, leaving a nice, soft finish. As a full-time housewife, I don't wear makeup often except when dropping off and picking up my kid from daycare or going grocery shopping. But when I don't want to go out bare-faced, this is perfect. It might be a drawback for some, but no matter how much you layer it on, it doesn't look like you're wearing makeup. Interestingly, it seems to cover pores quite well. When I use this product with a lip glow, it looks like I'm not wearing makeup, but my skin appears healthy and clean. The coverage is almost non-existent... I heard somewhere that this product is meant for touch-ups rather than morning makeup, and I think that's accurate. If you're looking for coverage, I absolutely don't recommend this product. But for touch-ups, I highly recommend it. Even when you're wearing makeup, it doesn't look like you are. The reason I gave it only 3 stars is that while it's perfect for me, it's not great for those wanting flawless makeup. For touch-ups or bare face coverage, it's 5 stars. For morning makeup or when you want to look like you're wearing makeup, you shouldn't use it alone. You need to use it over a base or foundation for perfect coverage. I haven't tried it for morning makeup, so I'm not sure about that. I can see why this cushion comes with a higher price tag. It leaves my skin looking dewy and smooth, really setting it apart from other cushions I've tried. The price is undeniably on the steep side. Also, its coverage isn't particularly outstanding.
