I bought this for my older elementary school son whose hair was starting to get greasy. I'm satisfied with how much it lathers. Usually, we wash twice, but with this shampoo, it foams up nicely even on the first wash! The cleansing effectiveness is great too - on days when we wash his hair well, even his blemishes seem to calm down a bit. When drying the hair with a towel after washing, it feels a bit stiff. Surprisingly though, it's easy to comb through. It seems fine for boys with short hair, but for girls with longer hair, you might need to use a conditioner as well.

I can't say I've noticed any significant improvement in terms of odor control.
