The product: Scalp DX Scaling Shampoo (500ml) - your pH-balanced, all-in-one solution for hair loss, scalp exfoliation, and nourishment. This multitasking shampoo is packed with 25 plant extracts and Follicusan DP (a patented ingredient) to provide hair with everything it needs to combat hair loss while improving scalp health. It's ideal for those dealing with thinning hair, hair loss, oily scalps, and dandruff. My thoughts: I was skeptical about a skincare brand venturing into hair care, but I was absolutely amazed. This shampoo not only lathers beautifully but also delivers an incredibly refreshing sensation to the scalp with its intense cooling effect. What's more, it's by far the most hydrating hair loss shampoo I've ever used in all my years of searching. I've never found a product that didn't leave my depressingly dry hair brittle and tangled, so I'm curious about the scientific breakthrough behind this fantastic formula. I also adore the fruity mint scent it leaves in my hair. While I can't comment on dandruff improvement since I don't have any, I've noticed less hair loss, and my scalp doesn't get as greasy despite the challenging climate. The only drawback I can think of for this product is its high price point. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 25, 2021
A creamy, high-viscosity shampoo with a milky white texture. It's not stiff, so even without conditioner, your hair feels soft after just shampooing. Great for managing long hair without tangles, keeping it smooth and silky! Plus, the Scalp DX Scaling Shampoo has a lovely floral scent that subtly lingers - I absolutely adore it! There's nothing to dislike about this shampoo! It helps care for scalp dead skin cells, provides a cooling effect to reduce scalp heat, and aids in maintaining soft, manageable hair. Step 1: Apply an appropriate amount of shampoo to the scalp and massage. Step 2: Leave for about 3 minutes to ensure thorough removal of scalp impurities that can clog pores. Step 3: Rinse thoroughly. Step 4: Dry your scalp and hair with cool air. - rh******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 3, 2021
It has a pleasant cooling sensation and a nice scent when used. The fragrance reminds me of a mix between salon shampoo and grape aroma! Since I don't have a particularly sensitive scalp, I didn't notice any specific downsides. If I had to mention one, it would be the price... Even though I bought it at a group discount, it's still pricier compared to regular shampoos. Here's a pro tip: Squeeze out just a small amount of shampoo and first work up a lather on your scalp. Then, sprinkle a bit of water, and you'll get an incredibly rich foam! - su******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 19, 2021
📍 Rich and creamy texture The formula is so thick and creamy that even those with lots of hair only need to pump it twice for a good lather! If you have a dry scalp, apply the shampoo to your hair first, then add water for extra foam. 📍 Large volume At 500ml, it's said to last 1-2 months with daily use, though individual usage may vary. When comparing to other shampoos, I noticed this one offers a larger volume. I personally found one bottle lasted quite a while! 📍 Cooling effect While it's marketed for hair loss prevention, I actually bought it for its cooling effect to soothe scalp itchiness. The cooling sensation was surprising at first, but after using the whole bottle, I found it significantly helped reduce scalp itching even after just one use. It was much more effective than regular shampoos! 📍 Pump dispenser Unlike products with caps, this shampoo comes with a pump, which saves time and reduces inconvenience. I always thought capped products would be a bit annoying, so the pump design is definitely more convenient! If only it were a bit more affordable... I would have kept using this product! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 12, 2020
As someone with seborrheic dermatitis, I found this refreshingly cool to use. The bottle size was quite generous too. Turns out it's not actually good for seborrheic dermatitis...? The scent doesn't seem to last long either. It was just an okay shampoo to use, nothing special. - dl********Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessApr 13, 2020
The scent is reminiscent of a cool minty musk, similar to a men's cologne. It's hard to pinpoint exactly, but it's not unpleasant. It reminds me of a certain musk-based fragrance I've encountered before. While the aroma is nice due to the added fragrance, personally, I wasn't too fond of that aspect... Its cleansing effectiveness isn't particularly strong, but it leaves the scalp feeling refreshed, which might be why it's marketed for scalp care. It washed out of my hair very gently, without leaving it feeling stiff. The lather isn't particularly rich or abundant. It's more like the foam you'd get from a mild, low pH cleanser. But it's not like there's no lather at all! After rinsing, a slight minty scent lingers. As for claims about strengthening hair roots or reducing hair loss, I honestly can't say I've noticed any difference. For a shampoo marketed for hair loss, the ingredients don't seem particularly impressive. It contains zinc, which could potentially clog pores, phenoxyethanol, which isn't great for our skin, and fragrances, which I'm not a fan of. - lh*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresApr 8, 2020
✨After using it for over a month, I changed the rating from 2 stars to 1 star✨ It lathers well even with a small amount, and just using the shampoo alone makes my hair feel soft. The scent was also not bad. Since my scalp is very sensitive, I bought this after seeing good reviews on SNS, but I don't think I'll buy it again.. My scalp is originally sensitive and prone to dandruff. It also itches. Although I have a lot of hair, when I use natural shampoos, my hair becomes too stiff for me to handle. The only shampoo I've used without any issues is the Head & Shoulders anti-dandruff shampoo. The ingredients don't seem that great, but when I use that shampoo, the dandruff and itching symptoms disappear. Then I tried this shampoo, but after using it, my hair starts itching.. It gets better after some time, but I don't know why it itches so much in the beginning. And the scent was said to be floral and nice, but I'm not sure about that. The scent doesn't seem to last long, and it doesn't seem to capture the scent on the top of my head very well. I'm a shampoo nomad, so please recommend a good shampoo..ㅠㅠㅠㅠ It's not easy to find one for my dry and sensitive scalp. I'm glad I didn't pay the full price and bought it. A small amount creates enough lather, so you can just apply it to the ends of your hair and then apply it to your scalp. The instructions say to lather and leave it on for 3 minutes, but I feel a burning sensation after about 3 minutes. Individual differences may apply, but please keep that in mind.. ⚘Reason for 1-star rating⚘ Even after using it for a month, the itchiness doesn't go away - ☆☆☆ The scent doesn't last at all, and my scalp and hair feel dry, but it starts getting oily after a day or two without washing - ☆ Total ★ - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJan 6, 2020
This is the shampoo I'm currently using. I love it so much that I've stocked up on it! I've been a long-time user of Mukti shampoo and really enjoy Aromatica's tea tree line, and this product is just as impressive. I often try different shampoos out of curiosity, but I always end up coming back to Aromatica Mukti. This product leaves my hair feeling incredibly refreshed! It has great cleansing effectiveness, and even though I rarely use conditioner and usually just rely on shampoo, my hair doesn't feel stiff despite the deep clean. It's like my scalp can breathe! It can feel a bit chilly when used in winter. The volume is somewhat small compared to the price. Since I don't often use conditioner, I just apply a little oil to the ends of my hair. - ci******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJan 1, 2020
The gentle milk formula leaves skin feeling less dry. It has a soothing, non-irritating texture that lathers well and provides effective cleansing. If left on the hair for too long, a strong menthol sensation intensifies. Don't leave it on for more than 3 minutes after applying. Dissolve the shampoo well in water and apply it evenly throughout your hair.
