It cleanses well, feels gentle, and leaves my skin nicely hydrated. I'll definitely consider purchasing it again in the future. There's nothing I particularly disliked about it. I just love everything from Dr.G! The cleanser has great cleansing effectiveness while being mild on the skin. It provides good hydration, which is a plus. I'm impressed enough to want to buy it again. As for drawbacks, I can't think of any - that's how satisfied I am. Dr.G products in general are simply fantastic. - wn*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 2, 2025
It's wonderfully gentle and does an excellent job at soothing. It's perfect for those with super sensitive skin. I'm not sure if it actually makes blemishes disappear, but it seems to have a slight effect. This product appears to be a skincare item, possibly a face mask or treatment, designed for sensitive and acne-prone skin. While it excels in gentleness and soothing properties, its effectiveness in treating acne is less certain. - rh********Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 29, 2025
The cleanser has a slightly acidic pH, but its cleansing effectiveness is impressive, leaving your skin feeling refreshed after washing. It thoroughly removes sunscreen residue and excess oil, which helps reduce concerns about blemishes. It cleanses gently without irritation, even for sensitive skin, making it suitable for daily use in your morning routine. While the low pH formula should be good for protecting the skin barrier, the lather isn't very rich, and the texture feels a bit slippery at first, which can be off-putting... If you're only using your hands to create foam, it might feel insufficient. Using a foam net makes all the difference! It creates a rich, creamy lather that really works hard. You can use less product and make it last longer. A foam net is absolutely essential when using this cleanser! - dw*****RecommendedJun 28, 2025
I've been using this consistently for over 3 years now. I love that it seems gentle and non-irritating on my skin. It feels like the cleansing effectiveness is a bit weak, and it doesn't seem to lather up well... - vn*******Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 26, 2025
It's a decent cleanser that's easy to use. However, I noticed it left my skin feeling a bit squeaky clean. Since I'm looking for a mild acidic foam cleanser to use only in the mornings, I think I'll search for an even gentler product. The product works well overall, but those with sensitive skin might find it a bit strong for daily morning use. If you're after a super gentle cleansing experience, you may want to explore other options. - pc********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 25, 2025
It doesn't leave your skin feeling squeaky clean or tight. It's gentle and even removes excess sebum. It doesn't lather much, and I'm not sure if it's cleaning effectively. I'd recommend it as a second cleanser. - eb******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsJun 24, 2025
Gentle and beast-sized volume!!! My skin actually started to get a bit worse, so I stopped using low pH cleansers Not recommended for oily skin types. It doesn't properly remove oil, which can lead to blemishes - tt****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 23, 2025
It's perfect for daily morning use without any irritation. I stock up whenever there are promotional discounts, so I always have some on hand! Since it's mildly acidic, the lather isn't as rich compared to other products. But that's not really a drawback, just something to mention if I had to point out anything! No real cons to speak of! - ji*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 16, 2025
I've been using this for over 3 years now, and it's fantastic for sensitive, acne-prone skin due to its low pH! I used to have a lot of blemishes on my cheeks, but they've improved significantly since I started using this. After cleansing, my skin feels so soft and smooth - it's wonderful! The cleansing effectiveness might be a bit lower than some other products. However, I'm satisfied because it seems to be great for calming my skin. This gentle cleanser is perfect for those with super sensitive skin or combination dehydrated skin. While it may not be as powerful in removing makeup or deep-cleaning pores, its ability to soothe and balance the skin makes it a great choice for daily use. If you're looking for a cleanser that won't strip your skin or cause irritation, this could be your new go-to product. - ek******Dry SkinRecommendedJun 14, 2025
12/24/2024 I typically use Dr.G for my daily cleansing routine, occasionally switching to an enzyme powder foam. The Dr.G Soothing Foam is my go-to for daily use, and it's gentle enough for double cleansing. Since I use a cleansing milk first, I don't need intense cleansing power from the foam. It's pretty standard in that regard. What I really appreciate is how suitable it is for when my skin feels super sensitive. That's why I've stuck with it for so long. After use, there's no feeling of deep dryness, and it doesn't cause any blemishes. Honestly, there's nothing particularly disappointing about this product. I have no complaints about the price, how it feels on my skin, or any skin reactions.
