I tried a sun serum for the first time, and it was definitely better than regular sunscreen. It left my skin feeling more hydrated, didn't leave any white cast, and didn't cause any blemishes. I'm really satisfied with it. I can't think of any downsides while using this product. It seems there wasn't anything I found disappointing.

It's totally a serum-like texture! There's absolutely no stiffness, and it glides on incredibly smoothly. Even when you apply cushion foundation over it, there's no pilling or issues - it absorbs beautifully. I think it gives you a subtle, luminous glow. I bought two products, but both had faulty pumps. At some point during use, the pumps completely stopped working. Occasionally, you might notice some vitamin-like clumps coming out, but when you roll it between your fingers, it absorbs into the skin nicely! The formula is wonderfully hydrating for dry skin. It applies smoothly, but unfortunately I couldn't continue using it after just two applications. It severely irritated my eyes, causing a stinging sensation. I really liked how lightweight it felt on my skin. It was hydrating, and I'm not sure if it's just my imagination, but it seemed like my dark spots were less noticeable. The complexion appeared more even. Unfortunately, the pump stopped working halfway through using the product. I couldn't get anything out at all! I contacted customer service about it, and they were kind enough to send a replacement pump. Since then, I've been able to use it without any issues. It's great that the product has a nice, lightweight texture and provides good hydration. The potential improvement in dark spots is a bonus, even if it might be subjective. As for the pump malfunction, while it was inconvenient, it's commendable that the customer service was responsive and solved the problem by sending a replacement pump. I was hesitant to try this brand's sunscreen after having issues with others, but the term "sun serum" intrigued me enough to give it a shot! First off, it absorbs beautifully! True to its serum nature, it's hydrating and incredibly easy to apply. It's perfect for hot summer days or as a pre-makeup base! While it does leave a slight sheen on the face, it doesn't feel dry or suffocating, which I really appreciate. Being summer, I do occasionally get a blemish or two popping up. There's not much to dislike, but if I had to nitpick, the price per volume is a bit on the higher side...? One small drawback: it can cause some pilling with makeup.

The photo shows how it looks with just a light layer applied. Barely noticeable, right? There's no white cast, and it goes on like a serum, making it perfect for those busy mornings when you just need to apply something quickly before heading out. Some sunscreens have overly wide openings, but what I love most about this product is how the dispenser releases just the right amount, making it super convenient to use. I keep it on my desk and simply squeeze out what I need whenever I want. So handy! If I had to nitpick, I suppose being a sun serum means it's pricier than other sunscreens? (Still, I'm satisfied given the product's quality at this price point.) The lightweight texture is wonderfully hydrating and absorbs beautifully into the skin. It leaves a clean finish without any white cast. I didn't find any downsides. If you prefer this type of formula, it's great to apply before makeup.
