The epitome of richness! This isn't your run-of-the-mill thin cream, but a heavy-duty moisturizer. When used as a night cream, it feels like it's locking in both hydration and oil, giving your face a deeply nourished sensation. After it dries, it tends to pill a bit like dead skin cells. In the morning, you might feel a slippery residue on your face, as if it hasn't fully absorbed. It has a tendency to sit heavily on the surface rather than absorbing well. However, after washing, your skin feels plump and firm. Try using this alone once or twice a week, skipping your usual toner and emulsion routine. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 11, 2016
The quality seems great for the price. The texture and application aren't heavy compared to other functional creams. After applying, my skin feels plump and full - like it's bouncing with hydration! Personally, I'm not a fan of the scent. While it's not overpowering, there's a medicinal quality to it. To be fair, this brand generally tends to have that kind of fragrance in their products. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 9, 2016
While not the most famous product from Dr. Jart+, this is personally my favorite! As I'm approaching my late 40s, I've been eyeing anti-aging lines, and I'm so glad I tried this. For a nourishing cream, it's surprisingly lightweight and fresh, making it easy to use without feeling heavy. It's got a nice bouncy texture with more hydration than oil, and it absorbs quickly - almost like a moisturizer? It contains an impressive 77% snail mucin extract, plus glycolic acid and allantoin. These ingredients offer exfoliation and damaged cell removal, improving skin density, boosting elasticity, and even caring for pores. It's not just for skincare - it can also help fade scars, stretch marks, and even burn marks! I have dry skin, and when I apply a thick layer at night, I wake up with the most amazing glow in the morning. The Inner Glow is incredible! The scent is as fresh and pleasant as the texture. My skin is prone to blemishes and irritation from cleansing foams or brightening products, but I've used two full jars without any issues. My boyfriend, who has sensitive, blemish-prone skin with deep dryness, stole my cream to use on his blemish scars and shaving nicks - he saw a lot of improvement! I think this product would work well for both dry and oily skin types without being too rich. (The photo shows the second jar I'm currently using) The size is 50ml and the price is around $58?! Using it morning and night, one jar lasts exactly 3 months, but the price feels a bit steep. So it's a bit expensive... I grumbled about that while using it, but as soon as I finished one jar, I quickly bought another and now I'm almost done with my second one. I prefer tube-type products for convenience, but having to use a spatula to scoop this out is a bit of a hassle. Also, it was great to use from early summer in June through October, but for winter, the texture might be too light for my extremely dry skin. I'll probably need to add an extra moisturizer in winter! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 29, 2016
As someone who doesn't enjoy sticky products, I was pleasantly surprised by this one. It has a nice, firm texture but finishes with a refreshing feel. Plus, it contains 77% snail mucin extract, which is higher than many other products. I was able to use it without any blemishes or irritation. I wonder if it's due to the anti-wrinkle properties, but after using it, I feel a slight tightness on my skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 19, 2016
This is a product I always buy in bulk at duty-free shops. It's so popular that people queue up for it, and it often sells out early. It's been a godsend for my rough winter skin. With its creamy texture that feels rich but not heavy, I slather it on generously at night. Come morning, I wake up to find my skin transformed into a honey-smooth complexion. While I haven't found any real drawbacks yet, I suppose it might feel a bit rich and potentially overwhelming when summer rolls around...? I've noticed that applying a bit extra to dry areas in the evening seems to have a noticeable effect on improving fine lines. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 23, 2015
It has a nice, firm texture. Even when applied in the morning, it doesn't cause my makeup to pill and helps maintain a glowing complexion. I personally enjoy dewy makeup, so it doesn't bother me, but it does tend to make your skin look quite shiny when you apply makeup after using this. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 5, 2015
The texture is incredibly satisfying. I highly recommend this to those who love a light, quickly absorbing formula. Even those with super sensitive skin probably don't need to worry too much. As someone prone to severe blemishes from cosmetics, I'm using this without any issues. For those with extremely dry skin, this alone won't cut it. I've tried applying it twice, even three times, but it just wastes product without improving the deep dryness at all. While it might work in the peak of summer, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a winter moisturizer. Personally, I apply this and then coat with Dr. Jart's oil balm. My skin gets unbearably tight, so even though I apply oil first thing after cleansing, I still felt tightness. But after layering the oil balm on top, the tightness is gone. - db*******Dry SkinAtopic SkinOct 27, 2014
The texture is delightfully firm, making application a pleasant experience. When applied before bed, it seems to create a perfect canvas for makeup the next morning. If applied in the morning before makeup, it can potentially cause pilling if you're not careful. For morning use, it's best to apply only a small amount.
