Personally, aloe gel doesn't usually agree with my skin, but I've been using this product and it's working great for me! It absorbs better and is more soothing than aloe gel, but it's a bit on the pricier side. I apply this and then layer a cream on top. Since my little one dislikes sticky textures, I chose this soothing gel that applies smoothly and helps calm heat-induced irritation. It worked well for us during summer, especially since my child's cheeks tend to get red easily in the sun. I also appreciated that the ingredients are gentle enough for babies to use. While it feels refreshing, it doesn't provide much hydration. I bought this thinking if it's good for kids, it must be good for adults too. And wow, it's incredibly gentle and amazing! This soothing gel really works wonders when your skin is irritated, providing instant relief. Naturally, it might feel a bit dry in winter, so you absolutely need to pay extra attention to moisturizing! My routine is to apply this product first, then a serum, let it absorb well, and finish with a cream and jojoba oil. I love it! It's gentle and really calms my skin. I've been using it consistently. It would be great if they could include higher quality calendula and improve the ingredients overall.

Dr. Alga products don't get much cheaper even when they're on sale. The product itself is really good, but... Difa recommended it as safe for children and pregnant women, but the intense cooling sensation surprised both my skin and me when I applied it. It seems perfect for summer use. After about 30 minutes, I felt heat and redness on my cheeks, along with a throbbing sensation. I immediately applied a soothing mask. It's clear that the ingredients don't suit my skin. I'll keep it and give it to my mom in summer since she doesn't have sensitive skin at all. The overly intense cooling effect caused skin irritation. Both my skin and I were startled. The ingredients clearly don't agree with me, causing heat, redness, and a throbbing sensation. It might be great for soothing non-sensitive skin in summer. Likely good for oily and combination skin types. Don't be alarmed when you apply it, but I wouldn't recommend it for extremely sensitive skin! Perfect for cooling oily and combination skin in summer. It might work even better as a face mask. Not recommended for super sensitive skin. Suitable for skin that tends to overheat. The gel itself is very gentle. Being designed for babies, it has excellent ingredients. I bought this when my skin inflammation was at its worst, hoping to calm it down. However, I found that aloe gels and soothing gels in general don't suit my skin, regardless of the brand. The ingredients are great, and it absorbs quickly after applying lightly. It's excellent for hydration. It doesn't provide extremely powerful moisturizing effects. I'm satisfied with using it as a light moisturizer. If you keep it in the fridge during hot summer days and apply it, it helps cool down your skin.
