I used this during my trip to Japan from the 9th to the 12th. As I have oily skin, I only applied toner before using this product. As expected from a physical sunscreen, it felt a bit rich. However, with just toner underneath and occasional blotting, it was manageable. It seems to apply smoothly without feeling sticky. Personally, I didn't experience any eye irritation. It's great for quick application since it doesn't leave a white cast and absorbs well. I'm not sure why, but when I apply the Pure Essence Sun Cream, 8 out of 10 times my face feels tingly and hot. However, I've experienced this with other sunscreens too, so if you haven't felt any tingling with other sunscreens, it might be fine for you to use. It's a sunscreen that doesn't leave a white cast and absorbs well, so you can apply it generously without worry.

It opened multiple times in my bag, and the product often leaked between the container and the lid, making a mess. 2. The unpleasant scent made it challenging to use.

The texture is light like a hydrating moisturizer, and I loved that it doesn't have any strong scent. While the Pure Edition tone-up sunscreen caused some skin itchiness, the original version seems to be fine for me. It's worth noting that the product absorbs well and doesn't leave a greasy feeling, which is ideal for layering under makeup. Co-created with Director Pi, so you can trust the ingredients - that's a big plus! It's wonderfully hydrating with no white cast or blemishes, making it a perfect match for Double Wear. I'm also happy that it doesn't irritate my eyes. The price is a bit steep for Etude House... And for those with oily skin, it might get a bit rich as time goes on. 맑은 로션 바르는 것처럼 촉촉하게 발리는 점이 가장 좋았어요! 제형은 정말 촉촉한 로션같은 제형이에요. 복합성인 저는 속건조+화장 후 유분이 생기는데, 특히 턱쪽은 속건조가 심한 편이에요, 이 제품은 앞서 말씀드렸듯 촉촉하고 흡수가 잘되는 선크림이라 속건조가 있는 저에겐 잘 맞았어요! 아쉬웠던 건, 사용 후 화끈거림+따가움이 있었다는 거예요. 제품 성분 중에 제게 맞지 않은 성분은 없었는데도요,, 여러 원인을 찾아봤지만 유기자차 선크림 바를 때 벅벅 바르게 되면 그렇다고 하긴 하더라구요ㅠㅠ 이것 외에 바르고난 후 약간의 끈적임이 있었던 것 같아요 유분기가 약간 올라와 해당 제품 사용 후 유분기 잡아주는 선스틱 한번 더 사용해주고 있어요 - ch***********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 8, 2025
It's so convenient as an easy wash! My skin tends to be sensitive, but this is gentle and suits me well. After applying, it feels a bit oily and pills slightly. You need to wait for it to fully absorb before applying makeup.
