Despite having sensitive skin, I didn't experience any blemishes while using this product. In fact, it seemed to improve my skin condition...!!! 2. I have combination dehydrated skin with very dry cheeks, but thanks to its balm-like texture, my skin felt hydrated even after cleansing without any deep dryness. 3. Being in balm form, I could gently massage it with my hands to remove makeup without causing any irritation to my skin. Additionally, it melted makeup effortlessly, making cleansing a breeze. It wasn't greasy at all, so I was very satisfied throughout its use. I want to mention some drawbacks, but there aren't any... Not just me, but my whole family enjoyed using it! - pe*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 2, 2020
As someone with super sensitive skin, I loved that this cleanser caused no irritation. There was no tight feeling after washing, and it left my skin feeling refreshed. Be careful around the eye area though. I felt a slight cooling sensation that might be too intense for some. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 17, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The set includes a cleansing balm, spatula, and a special cleansing cloth or sponge. When it comes to cleansing products, I focus on cleansing effectiveness, finish, and hydration. For cleansing effectiveness, it removes most makeup except mascara. When using just the balm, traces of mascara, eyeliner, and tint remained. With the cleansing cloth, only mascara marks were left. The finish is quite good - comparing it to other types, I'd rank it as: tissue > cream > balm > oil. It's hydrating too. While it's inevitably a bit drying as a cleansing product, it's less so than others. I've upgraded my rating from 4 to 5 stars! The more I use it, the more impressed I am. No need for separate exfoliation - after using this, my skin feels baby-soft. It even removes blackheads, which was a pleasant surprise! However, the sponge becomes less effective at removing residue over time, though it's still usable. I'll need to buy a new sponge eventually. The downside is definitely the price. I'm glad I received it as a tester because it's not something I'd repurchase at that cost. Also, as it's not a well-known brand, I'm a bit skeptical about its reliability. I didn't like the scent either - I question why they needed to add fragrance at all. It smells like old-fashioned cosmetics. Looking at the ingredients, they're not particularly impressive. If I experience any blemishes or skin reactions, I'll update my review. For best results, make sure to use the special cleansing cloth. The balm and cloth work really well together! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 26, 2019Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I apologize for the delay in posting my review due to personal reasons. I received the product safely. I used it for a total of 6 days, primarily during my evening cleansing routine. Scent: The first thing I loved was the fragrance. It has a sweet, peachy scent. Personally, I found it pleasant without the typical factory-like, greasy smell often associated with oil balms. It didn't give me a headache either, which was great. Cleansing and Texture: As a balm-type cleanser, you scoop it out with a spatula and it melts smoothly with the warmth of your hands. The oil felt heavier than I expected. When applied to the skin, it felt more substantial compared to typical oil cleansers. During cleansing, it almost felt a bit overwhelming. It effectively removed light makeup and basic skincare products. However, I'm not entirely sure about its effectiveness on eyeliner, mascara, and especially waterproof products. I wasn't completely confident in its ability to remove these thoroughly, so I always followed up with a second cleanse. Irritation: It didn't sting when it got into my eyes. Some products can feel harsh on the skin, but this one has a soft texture that melts quickly, so there was no stinging or burning sensation. It was quite gentle overall. A day after using this product, I noticed two or three blemishes appearing. I continued using it for a few more days to be sure, and it seems this product was indeed the cause. Although there was no stinging or apparent irritation, which made me think it was fine, it appears the oil layer didn't wash off well, leading to continuous breakouts. I felt like it took a long time to emulsify. Usually, even in the worst cases, oil cleansers emulsify within 5 minutes and can be rinsed off. But as I mentioned earlier, due to its heavy texture, no matter how much I tried to emulsify it, there was always a sticky, oily residue left on my face that wouldn't go away. While it might be good for those with dry skin as it's not drying, personally, I found the lingering sensation uncomfortable. If you massage it in thoroughly, you can feel it balancing sebum production and refining skin texture. At first, I thought it might be just my imagination, but I noticed the difference after using it for a while. If you focus on massaging the T-zone area, especially around the nose, you might see some improvement in blackhead removal as well. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 24, 2019Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

First off, the cleansing effectiveness is absolutely fantastic! I've only used cleansing oils before, but in my personal opinion, this balm's cleansing power is far superior. It doesn't feel greasy or sticky at all, and it really works well for my skin. I was so impressed that I was very keen on repurchasing, but when I looked it up, I found the regular price is $60... Honestly, I don't think it's worth spending that much, even though it suits me really well. It's truly disappointing that there are many more cost-effective alternatives. Also, as someone with super sensitive skin, I usually analyze ingredients on Hwahae before buying cosmetics. Surprisingly, despite this product not having the best ingredients, it didn't cause any blemishes on my skin, which is quite puzzling. Still, given the less-than-ideal ingredients and the not-so-great value for money, I don't think I'll go out of my way to use this product again. Since it's a cleansing balm, I strongly recommend using a spatula for hygiene reasons! - gi*******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 24, 2019Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I usually just rub cleansing oil on my nose, use cleansing wipes or lip and eye remover for my eye and lip makeup, and finish with a cleansing foam. This cleansing balm doesn't sting my eyes and is less greasy than cleansing oil, making it great for removing blackheads on my nose and eye makeup instead of using oil and cleansing wipes. I was also impressed by how well it removed even heavy makeup! The price might be a bit steep for some to purchase directly, but the quantity seems to be more than other cleansing balms I've used! For those who follow a multi-step cleansing routine, using this balm followed by a cleansing foam would work well - unless you're wearing full makeup, of course! And don't forget to use the towel that comes with it! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 23, 2019Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Hydration I applied the balm to my face, massaged it in, then rinsed with water. (I didn't use the included towel because it was a hassle.) I didn't use any additional cleanser afterward. Surprisingly, my skin felt incredibly moisturized even after washing! On nights when I was too lazy to apply moisturizer, my skin didn't feel particularly dry. This is noteworthy because I usually experience extreme dryness! It seems similar to the oil bar product from New Origin. 2. Glow I'm not sure if it's just my imagination, but my face has a nice glow. This aspect, along with its excellent hydration, makes me consider purchasing it. 3. Cleansing effectiveness Being an oil balm, it removes makeup very effectively. 4. Quantity There's a generous amount, so it should last a long time even with liberal use. 1. Packaging The container is too large, and they sealed the lid with styrofoam, which was messy to remove. It kept getting on my hands... 2. Scent I personally like the herbal(?) scent, but it's quite strong. The fragrance might be polarizing. So, is it worth buying? I looked it up and it's around $60, which makes me hesitate. Given its large size, the value for money isn't bad. While I think $60 is expensive for a cleanser, its benefits (hydration, glow) are quite good. If I had some extra cash, I'd consider purchasing it! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 23, 2019Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

In winter, my face usually feels tight and dry after cleansing, but since this is an oil balm, there was no dryness at all. The amount is surprisingly generous, so I'm sharing it with my mom. She also loves how quickly it dissolves makeup and doesn't leave her face feeling tight! The included face cloth was really interesting too (though I'm not entirely sure if that's its exact purpose). When it arrived, it seemed to have melted slightly as there was oil inside the case. Also, we should be a bit careful with the ingredients. While it was fine for me, it's better to be cautious just in case. - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 21, 2019Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

First off, I was really impressed by how perfectly it cleanses. Usually, even after double cleansing, I don't feel like I've done a thorough job and something feels off. I'd often get blemishes the next day, probably because it wasn't cleaned properly. But this product gives me the feeling that it's cleansing deep down, which I love. The packaging is great too - it comes with a cleansing cloth and detailed instructions (though I couldn't read them as they weren't in Korean). It even includes a spatula! These little details make it feel like they've really thought of everything. Also, with the cold weather and wind lately, my skin has been cracking from dryness. Usually after cleansing, it feels like a drought, but this product is so rich that there's no skin tightness afterwards - that's a big plus! Overall, I'd say I'm very satisfied with this product. Let's talk about the ingredients. That's the first thing I checked as soon as I won this product. I have super sensitive skin, so ingredients are one of the things I scrutinize most when buying cosmetics. I couldn't use this product right away - I had to patch test it behind my ears and on my wrists for a few days before using it on my face. Luckily, there was no reaction, but if you have sensitive skin, please, please do a patch test before use. I guess it's because it's a foreign product. And then there's the price... I use makeup lightly, so even a small amount is enough for me. But I don't feel like there's a lot of product here. And yet it costs 60,000 won...? I'm sorry, but I wouldn't buy this with my own money. I'd rather buy a product from another brand with good ingredients and a reasonable price. I'd recommend this to those with dry skin and anyone worried about thorough cleansing! However, I wouldn't recommend it to students like myself. - ha********Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 21, 2019Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The balm-type cleanser is excellent at gently removing makeup, which I really appreciate. 2. Waking up, my skin feels moisturized and supple (I have combination dehydrated skin). 3. It has a citrus scent and a rich texture that's both creamy and slippery, making it easy to use without any discomfort. There's definitely a reason why this product is so popular. It momentarily gives you that smooth, soft 20-something skin - like a peeled egg! The price is quite steep, unfortunately. It's the kind of cost that makes you think twice. As someone with an extreme case of laziness, I'm not confident I'd wash the included cloth daily. So I ended up just using soft disposable cotton pads instead. It seems to control sebum well too. Try rolling it around your nose area as well!
