As someone with sensitive skin prone to blemishes and redness due to dermatitis, I have to be extremely careful with creams. This product, however, is truly gentle and didn't cause any breakouts. For me, a product that doesn't trigger blemishes is a winner. I was reassured by the minimal ingredient list, and the texture is pleasantly smooth when applied. For those with dry skin, it might feel slightly rich, but it's not excessive at all. Just gently pat it in, and it absorbs well into the skin. Using this alone isn't quite enough. I'd recommend applying it after a hydrating product or on top of a moisturizer to lock in hydration. Occasionally, it can pill and create white residue, even after thorough absorption. This seems to happen when too much is applied, so be careful with the amount, especially if you're using it as a makeup base. Personally, I find the packaging inconvenient. While it's designed to be hygienic, it's difficult to get the last bit out when you're running low. The small opening also tends to collect dust. As mentioned earlier, don't use this alone - apply it after a hydrating product. As someone with rosacea, I find this product great for my super sensitive skin. It's gentle and non-irritating, which is exactly what I need. I wish it had a richer texture. It absorbs too quickly, leaving my skin feeling a bit dry, which is disappointing.

The cream's texture isn't heavy or suffocating, but rather fresh and absorbs well, making it great for oily skin types. It's unscented and feels genuinely gentle. The blemishes that occasionally popped up would calm down nicely when I applied this before bed! The pump requires a bit of force, which made it difficult to control the amount. Other than this point, I didn't find any particular drawbacks! Applying this to areas needing soothing before bed was effective in calming blemishes by the next morning. I received this as a gift before and liked it so much I bought it again! I have combination skin. It applies smoothly and absorbs well. Usually, when I apply creams, my skin tingles, but this product doesn't cause any irritation. When I apply makeup after using this, it tends to pill. So I either use a small amount or mix it with a serum. When my skin gets super sensitive, I find it so soothing to generously apply this after an Avène mist before bed. It's great that it comes in a pump bottle for hygienic use. For a product meant for dry skin, it lacks both hydration and richness. It's especially insufficient as a night cream! Overall, I liked that it wasn't greasy, making it suitable for daytime use. Plus, it offers sun protection, which is a great bonus. When the weather gets dry in fall and winter, it feels like it lacks hydration. It's just perfect for use in spring or summer.
